I have been coming to this diner for years and I have to say I was very disappointed with the service during my visit. Everything was fine until I noticed my mother was not eating her meal and then I asked her why. She said, "The food is burnt and it does not taste well, but it's okay. I don't want to make a complaint about it." My dad, wanting my mother to enjoy her meal and since he's paying for it, decided to tell the owner/manager about it. As he's trying to explain the situation to her, she rudely cuts him off by saying "no, it's look like she ate some of it and we asked if everything was ok earlier so there's nothing we can do" and then walks away without hearing my father out. I thought this was a very rude manner for an owner of a business to treat a loyal customer who has been coming here for years. My dad decides to tell the waitress as well and she responds in the same manner as the manager. We then sat there for quite some time waiting for someone to help us resolve our situation, but restaurant decided to simply ignore us. In conclusion, my father ended up paying for the meal he was not satisfied with, but left feeling disregarded. Its very disappointing as I used to recommend this diner to everyone saying it's the best diner in Yonkers but it appears things have changed here. It's unfortunate, but we will not be returning here anymore and will be taking our business elsewhere.
Great Dinner! Great Food!Diners Represents American Traditions ! We must never lose our,Traditions. Seven Brothers Diner areNot just Burgers and Fries! They have other Great Food. The Coffee is Great! So let's support our Diner's!??????♂️?♀️
Mothers Day dinner here... it was pretty busy, but we got a table. The front part is definitely a diner, with stools at the counter. There were specials that included the meal, sides, drink and dessert -- a good value for the money. Food came out quickly and cooked exactly as it was ordered (medium rare for the prime rib). The crab stuffed shrimp was amazing, 4 large portions, as well as the sides of lemon potatoes. Cannoli cake and strawberry shortcake desserts were fresh and delicious. Staff was very busy, and they interacted with customers and each other with a great sense of humour! Excellent experience!
Delicious good food. Fast and attentive service. Can' t eat all. Have to take home half of it. Tables are small. Overall good.
The food was outstanding. I had pancakes with bananas in it and they were absolute perfection. My bacon and eggs were also incredible. Me and my grandma were floored. EXCELLENT!
This used to be a great place to eat but unfortunately their menu variety, food quality and service have dropped off a bit since before the pandemic. I also felt like I was being rushed to finish my meal even though I came in an hour before closing. They need to re-learn some things about customer service.
Nothing fancy here, just straight forward good, reasonably priced food served by a friendly wait staff. My Western Omelette and Home Fries was served exactly how I asked for it and the coffee flowed freely.Really, what else do you want out of a diner???
I come to this diner several times a week, sometimes even twice a day. I went for dinner earlier this week and had a terrible experience. My fish came out uncooked. when i sent it back, the cook simply put the fish under the burner to heat it and it came out uncooked again. The waitress was nice and acknowledged the fish was uncooked and even mentioned she wasn't sure what was wrong with the new cook because someone also sent fish back for the same reason the day prior. I told her i no longer wanted the meal and please do not send it back for the third time. she must not have heard so she had the cook make another fish. when i told her i didn't want it, she apologized. The owner of the diner saw the entire encounter and never took the time to come over to the table to apologize for this mix up. i told the waitress how annoyed i was and she said the owner is rude like that and literally NEVER acknowledges mistakes. She said she never comes to tables to talk to her customers when something is wrong. when i went to pay for the meal my mother ate i expressed to the owner how disappointed i was in a very respectful manner. she got extremely LOUD and rude stating "i made another fish and you refused to eat it". not knowing i told the waitress i didn't want it any more. she began to yell stating she ate the fish and there was nothing wrong with it. a young lady at the table behind me said, "there's no use in telling her there was a problem because she never admits when there's an issue, and never apologizes". I have never experienced this at this diner and it really confused me why she got so upset and loud. I come to this diner several times a week, talk to the family, bring my twins there, and considered these people family" but she definitely showed me a different side of her. plain old rude. I will NEVER return here, and will make sure my family and friends don't either. I understand mistakes happen in the kitchen all the time, but its all about customer service and how you handle those mistakes, and this lady was so rude. very disappointed. I chose not to argue with this lady because she is an older lady and i respect my elders but this place will never get another dime from me.
7 Brothers Diner is one of the best diners I have visited! They are popular with take out and the breakfast crowd but serve lunch and dinner as well. The food is always fresh and cooked perfectly! I had the Thanksgiving Dinner Special.
The staff here is spectacular. We were staying at a hotel not far away and went to this diner two mornings in a row. The waitresses remembered our drink orders, black coffee and chamomile tea. We mentioned we were in a bit of a hurry and appreciated their attentiveness and they then rushed our order for us. Food was great diner food that brought us down memory lane as it was what we had missed since moving away from the area.
