Best Coffee Shop in the area. Easy to find, easy to park and feels comfortable in general.
Sandy’Cafe in Ridge Hill is my go to place for Great breakfast food made fresh just like their Orange juice. . I highly recommend their menu. I love the coffee, it’s a pick me up boost , the empanadas, wraps are delicious and neat, not soggy or greasy and will not fall apart. I will try their pancakes next time, I’m always there whenever I have a Dr. Appointment at WestMed. basically, every 1-3 months I’m there. Especially when I have a blood test, I have to fast the night before, Sandy’s Cafe will satisfy my taste bud and fill my tummy craving ? ? Til Next Time! ✌️
Nice, small cafe with a calm atmosphere. The indoor seating is very limited with only about 6~8 seats available. The prices do feel uneven with a bacon + egg on a roll & coffee being almost $10.Overall, the staff was friendly and my food did come out fairly quickly. If you're at Ridge Hill and want a quick bite without having to go into the nearby restaurants then this is a nice alternative.
Extremely overpriced for what you get. They also take a very long time to make your order. I had ordered a egg sandwich (no cheese and no meat) and a coffee and it came out to $10. Yikes.
The food is good and there is a lot of choice. Unfortunately the service is slow and not a very relaxing environment. To be fair I was there at lunch time. I suspect it would be much more conducive to a sit down lunch on the off hours
If you want a great sandwich, this place is awesome! Want a salad? Don’t bother. $20 for uncut lettuce in a “bowl”… unbelievable. They didn’t even remove the bad parts of the lettuce head they used. Shameful! They also forgot to add the tomatoes I asked for. A 2 year oldcould have plated a better salad!!!!For the $22 I just wasted, I could have went to the cheesecake factory down the street and spent less for a quality meal.Asked for crispy chicken and the employee said it would take longer which was fine. I still ended up with grilled chicken.Waste of time and money.
The lady in the front desk was extremely rude. She made me a latte that was quite frankly disgusting. Pancakes were great though ??
This place is convenient, because it's right next to the office building next door. I find it expensive, but I enjoy their apple turnovers and yogurt parfaits. The chicken empanada was pretty good. The atmosphere is relaxing, and they have a good selection of healthy food and shakes. However today, the cashier who was serving me, served me with black gloves, which she also used to go into the fridge to retrieve some prepackaged sandwiches for reheating. Now, she did NOT do the cooking and meal prep, but it bothered me that she used broken, dirty black gloves. Her nail was sticking out of one of the gloves. Again, she didn't touch the food, she used tongs to get the empanada out, but it just bothered me. Not enough to not go back, but it bothered me. Pandemic or not, food places should still be hand washing and not wearing dirty gloves.
Very overpriced and they dont make up for it with their portions. $11 for a BEC and they only put 1 piece of bacon in it…. Lol. If youre from NYC def avoid.
I heard the previous owners were much better and the prices were much more reasonable. I spent $20 on a bacon egg and cheese sandwhich and fresh squeezed orange juice. Both were okay. We are all going through a tough time so to price gouge like this speaks volumes for the owners character.
