There’s something really special about this place. From the pizza to the charming ambiance to the owner. I actually started crying while I was eating my pizza and sipping my espresso. I guess the two words you could call it are love and family. I wanted to just hangout here all day and soak it all in. There’s a richness and fondness that you can’t find in many places. I felt like the owner was my dad, grandpa, brother, friend. He not only served me incredible pizza—he served me love.
Superb pizza. Wonderful service. Would strongly recommend.
Best Pizza in Yonkers! Hardworking family trying to survive today's economy! Stop in buy a few pies or slices and dobt forget to tip well! Nothing shows appreciate more than a good Tip and review!
Just about THE BEST PIZZA you'll EVER eat! Been lucky enough to enjoy Luigis pizzas since my childhood. Absolutely delicious and family friendly atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone around here. God bless you Luigi.
One of the best pizza in the area great sauce for chicken parm and all their pastas
Family owned small pizza shop- Great pizza but the conversation while waiting for the pizza was even more amazing. You can also see them make the pizza right in front of your eyes. The crust had good flavor and nice texture (they make the crust the way you like it), flavorful marinara sauce and low prices. They also have pasta and sandwiches.
I go here for this dish. Love it. Staff is friendly, nice and fast service. Always welcomed. Feels like family.
Words can't explain how amazing this place is. This pizza took me back when New York made real pizza. I recommend this place to all pizza lovers. I would come back.
I can't say enough great things about Lou, his mom, or this restaurant. We lived in Yonkers from 2009 - 2014 and in all that time we became well acquainted with the gregarious, warm, entertaining, unique Louie, and his quiet, sweet, ever present partner of a mom. Whether ordering over the phone, or walking in to pick up your meal, you are always greeted by the most friendly, quintessential NY accent, and genuine welcomeness and gratitude. I understand that Lou's mom passed away last year, and that saddens me greatly. I no longer live in Yonkers, but saw a Barstool Sports review of Raceway Pizza recently on You Tube and this is how I found out. I had planned to visit Lou's pizzeria this weekend as I'm heading up to Westchester but I see on his website that he's closed on the weekends. Possibly due to lack of foot traffic, and or this god forsaken pandemic. All I can say is if you live in the area, please support this great, long-standing institution of a restaurant. It and Lou have been staples in Yonkers since 1971, and you don't get to run a business for over 50 years and not be something very special...
Express place is a god send. Takes all the headache of dealing with the DMV for you.Staff was very professional and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything to me and took all the stress off. They renewed my son’s registration and transferred plates.I highly recommend their services.
