First time here & i could see this place was good beacuse it was packed. Overall, Food was great, loved that they gave my child an activity while waiting for food but some things could have been better. The water tasted like tap water & our server wouldn’t check up on us so when it was time for the check, i didn’t want to yell for the waiter & i just wished she would’ve been more attentive.

Always an issue when I get what I ordered. Always. Rude waiter. Manager was unwilling to acknowledge problem. Overpriced. NOT RECOMMENDED
I love the food and service at this place. It was my second time being there and the service is always nice and positive. The food is just as good as the chicken fingers took me back to my childhood and the burger was fire-grilled to perfection. I have no negatives that u can think of so far but great place for family and friends. Either for a quick bite or even for a nice moment with loved ones.
The last time I ate here was in 1970, with my best friend and his uncle, who was part-owner of a horse who ran at Yonkers Raceway which I watched under construction in the 1960’s. Happy to report that the food and service at Raceway Diner are still outstanding, worthy of its venerable reputation. This evening I would like to compliment two servers who waited on me while seated at the counter, Gina and Dana Marie, both of whom were super-pleasant and made my experience extra enjoyable with their light-hearted sense of humor. Oh yeah the food was pretty good too. I shall definitely not wait another 52 years to return!
I only ordered the Lemon Merange pie and some baklava. Both were excellent. Clean environment, attentive staff, fresh made to order stuff. What you come to expect from a family diner.
Today I had lunch with my son at this diner and the food was so fresh and delicious the coffee was great and the women who took care of us was the best part LISA was so exceptional I definitely will be coming back not only was she kind and caring also kid friendly this means a lot to parents I would recommend hear to all my friends and family
I use to hang out in the summers at this restaurant..My grandma and grandpa worked there….There name was George and Helen Karahalios.. My grandpas cousin owned the restaurant….If they still own it tell them there grandson Rudy Anderson said Hi from North Carolina…Sure miss my summers up there with them….
I went with my younger sister after both of us had gotten off of work and all of the staff were absolutely wonderful. The food was absolute *chef's kiss* and we had great conversation with our waitress. She checked in on us just enough to keep our drinks full and courses coming and have a couple laughs with us as well. Absolutely going to be coming again soon.!
Half a chicken & 3 sides sounds great for $20 but the fact that the coleslaw tasted absolutely repulsive ? as if it came straight out some slimy can. They literally put cubed can carrots like how cheap!? Please turn this menu item into potato salad. It’s not giving anything but.
