EDITED/CORRECTION: 04/15/2022 (I realized my review a year ago should have been for GOLDEN FOUNTAIN -in MOUNT VERNON on MOUNT VERNON Ave. Not the New Golden Dragon in Yonkers. I have never been to that restaurant and they are not associated ) I first came across this gem while attending a workshop at the nearby Mount Vernon Workforce and Development office. A classmate said the food was good so I followed her there for lunch (pre Covid). My first thought was WOW! While the restaurant is small, it is very clean and neat. You have a complete view of the kitchen and everything is in its place. No weird smells or anything. The lovely Asian (owner) woman, was so kind and friendly which was definitely the reason behind a few of the stars I gave. Now for the food. I've had Shrimp Egg Fu Yung, General Tso's chicken, lemon chicken, shrimp fried rice, Lo-Mein, vegetable Egg Fu Yung and the beef and broccoli (all at different visits). Everything that I have had has been delicious! Always hot and fresh and made to order! You can taste the ingredients. The scallions and bean sprouts and the chicken is especially tasty, it never has that "poultry" taste or any suspect after tastes. I've had Chinese food from the west coast, mid-west an all up and down the eastern seaboard and New Golden Fountain on Yonkers Ave is by far one of the best! Try it once and you'll always come back!

Great General Tso's chicken
Hands down best Chinese takeout I've had. Their wonton soup was delicious as well as the chicken lo mein. It was a nice surprise that they don't use any of that rubbery frozen chicken that most places use. The lo mein tasted absolutely fresh, from the noodles to the veggies to the chicken. I called in to place my order and it was ready within 20 minutes for me to pick up. Staff was also extremely friendly. This will be my go-to for any of my Chinese food needs from here on out

Perfect!! Delicious wonton soup
Great Chinese food. Dumplings are incredibly meaty and tasty. General tsos very crispy. And pork fried rice is incredible.Also very nice lady that is just genuinely nice.
