Stopped to use the bathroom. And then stayed for a drink and a shot. Bartender was friendly and quick. Follow customers seemed friendly as well.
The food is excellent. The bartenders and the waitresses will make you never want to leave. I've had the wings the properly cooked burgers to the sizzling ribeye platter. One of my favorites is the Thai chicken wraps. Truly a wonderful neighborhood bar. The thing is, it feels like your aunt's house with all the good food and the funny patrons and staff. Amazing place to decompress after a hard day's work.
The staff was very close by us like uncomfortably close but on the bright side we were nerve without a water refill. The french onion soup was the cheesiest ever, I actually couldn't finish all the cheese! It was great. The potato skins were fine. My dinner companions enjoyed their meals.
McKeons is a priceless neighborhood pub-restaurant serving great quality food. If you are a steak lover you must try the sissler, of course you are not limited to steak, they have a very varied menu. The bar is definitely one of a kind, where you can sit and just have a quiet drink, or join with a bunch of locals and enjoy neighborhood banter, depending on the topic of the day you are guaranteed to enjoy your favorite cocktail, Craig, and great company.. The owners are very community minded, caring and friendly, it is no wonder it is one of the most-love spot on the Ave.
