Delicious food with outstanding service. Lunch was so good I went back for supper. I enjoyed the chicken Marsala with a side a angel hair pasta with oil n garlic. The chef thinly sliced the garlic and fried it til crisp. Outstanding and such large portions. For dinner I had the special baked cod piccata served over mashed potatoes and spinach. Another tasty meal. Service is attentive both times
The worst expierance ever!!!! 3/18/22Manager on duty for tonight was the most rudest. She treated my wife with so desprect. There was more them 7 tables open.I understand on Fridays we can't hold table there was no need to tell my wife I ALREADY SAID YOU HAVE TO WAIT 3 TIME..We own 3 restaurants are self.I would never talk to a guest in that matter !!! She focuses more on talking to the staff than engaging with the guest.Very condescending, we WHERE!!!! regular. No need to make any guest feel less.A guest walk in even to get there takeout that manager. Least direct them or give them their order, not POINT, and say one of those bags are yours really.Just because you have support from your locals. All great now but you will lose guest in time with employee like her ,believe me.!!! Then on top a employee ran to her rescue saying this is my family restaurant good for you ,Whoever you were. You had to embrace the guest lead my example. If your family not encourage bad behavior.
This restaurant is a joke it is run down and dirty the waitress is extremely rude and impoliteThe food was the most tasteless and unplated I have ever seen! You take a chicken Marsala and cover it in gravy which tasted like it came out of a can and the mushrooms were way too large for the dish . The vegetables were overcooked and the sauce on the pasta tasted like something store bought. The owner of this joint I will not even distinguish it by calling it a restaurant is laughing all the way to the bank!Serving food like this at the prices he is charging is laughing at people!Go to a real Italian restaurant and see how good Italian food is prepared and cooked.Shame on you for such a rip off.
wow!! what a pleasant surprise, fantastic quality in a cute suburban storefront, highky recommended
The glowing reviews of this restaurant are puzzling to me. My family and I went to Gianna's against my wishes a few weeks ago and I'm just now getting around to writing this. The food is.... meh, at best. I had deep fried chicken cutlet with sauce and cheese that was supposed to be chicken parm. My daughter on the other hand ordered a short rib dish. She did not care for it and so we traded plates. The dish did not at all taste like the description on the menu. It was glorified, bland pot roast on dry flavorless mashed potatoes. The best part, at the end of the unsatisfying meal, we were treated to an exorbitant fee for the use of a credit card. I have had way better meals at Olive Garden for less cost. The only reason why I'm rating two stars is because they gave a generous pour of the scotch I ordered. Here's a hint, I get that you are an Italian restaurant, but have some decent beers to pick from, how about an Italian one? When Corona and Modelo are your top choices, I have questions. I guess that may be petty but come on. Definitely skip this place, there are many better Italian restaurants in Yonkers. A and V comes to mind immediately.
Amazing Appetizers found nowhere in Westchester County. My husband and I sat at the bar which we never do. Service was excellent. Bartender was very attentive. Place was packed! Still we enjoyed trying it out for the first time in comfort. Recommended to all our friends!Totally different atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. Can be very Quant for two or with a Crowd for fun! Make a reservation today!
Service was friendly and prompt. Wine selection good and the food we ordered delicious and more than ample. Took some home. The experience was elevated upon learning that the Port wine came from a Vineyard in Portugal we had visited just a few weeks previous. Friendly couple next to our table engaged with us on a host of topics, making the experience even nicer. We will return some day.
Food was great and the portion size was ridiculous a great experience from food to service!
Great food, staff and service! We were in town for a long weekend and stumbled upon Gianna’s and ended up there twice in 3 nights. We started off with the the fried meatballs, bread, olive oil and olives then enjoyed pizza, beet & goat cheese salad, and chicken scarpariello. For dessert we indulged in a cannoli, creme brûlée and the cheese cake. Everything we had was excellent! We will be back the next time we’re in the city.
Had Lunch here on a Monday afternoon, super fast and good service. We got the margarita pizza with the roasted brussel sprouts, both were delicious. Free bread appetizer also!
