Best pizza ever. Every single time. Don’t miss out on the fresh tomato pie when it’s available in August and early September.
I managed to get Frank Pepe’s Apizza last week. They say it’s charred and not burnt. They call it Neapolitan. It’s neither. But it’s actually really good nonetheless!
It was good pizza. Not my style of pizza I like but it was good. I wish they had slices instead of a pie. So you can have two types of pizza. Over all good pizza. Parking little small.
As good as it should be with most of the New Haven vibe. Toss in a dose of NYC vibes and you've got a unique experience. I highly recommend this Frank Pepe Pizzeria location! Parking is an issue. Be prepared to street park at meters. The meter app is the same as New Haven uses, ParkMobile. I found that super convenient. The staff is at once knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The geographic location is quite a bit out of the way of travelers highways and parkways so leave enough time.
This place is famous for a reason. The pizza is amazing. The large is actually large. And the prices are great. The drinks have free refills and the waitress was so nice. The menu is pretty simple it's pretty much all pizza and salad. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes pizza.
If you are a fan of pizzas this is a place you should go. This pizza made in a brick oven is the bomb, it gives it a different taste and the crust is well toasted. on this visit I ordered 3 pizzas (one small Margherita, and 2 medium ones, one cheese and the other Amanti della Carne). The prices are very good and they also offer salads on their menu.
My first time there. Wanted 2 slices to take out. They only do whole pies. 1 small orig tomato pie with mozzarella $13.88. Outrageous! And then they wanted a tip starting at 18% for take-out. I have no objection when eating in when the service is friendly and professional. I got a nasty look when I clicked on no tip. Had asked cashier for well done but probably because no tip she did not bother telling the baker so I had to tell them myself as they were taking it out of the oven. The excuse cannot be that they were busy, they were not. NO more Pepe pizza for me. I told a number of people about my experience and they agreed.
The best pizza in New York
What an amazing and chill place. This is probably one of the few places that has kept its authenticity. It was my first time dinning at this place. My partner was super excited to visit as she had not been there in years. We took the 25 minute drive up and instantly got a seat the moment we walked in. The place is beautiful, they have their vintage family photos and it just feels like home. Our server was very relaxed and straight to the point. We ordered a regular cheese and half with pesto and fresh garlic. I got myself a peroni (classic). Bomb! That’s all I have to say. Will be coming back and I hope this establishment never changes.
My favorite pizza in all of Westchester. Cheap, fast, incredibly delicious. A warning: the food comes out so hot that it is important to wait a bit before eating too much of it to avoid burning your mouth.
