Really good pizza. Our server Derek did a fantastic job.
Cool vibe, nice ambiance, very spacious and bright.Service is fast, all the staff members are friendly and accommodating.Food was delicious, beautiful presentation, and the dessert was wonderful.I would like to come back here again.
We had pizza and wood fire cauliflower. Both were very good. The food took a bit to come out, yet there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Our server was sweet.
When Fortina first opened a few years back in a great space in a newly renovated factory building, there was ambience, energy, great food, and an all-around good time for informal dining. Well, what a difference a few years make! Maybe it's the pandemic or staffing issues, but whatever happened, our recent experience there had none of the above. The food was mediocre, the service was terrible, the bathrooms were filthy, the energy was low. And it was expensive. With so much decent restaurant competition nearby, Fortina will have to up its game or it won't be around much longer.
Very nice atmosphere very open and rustic decor. Menu was good. Cute drinks. I got the paccheri, decent taste serving size for price was not worth it though. Gnocchi was also decent. My friends San Andres pizza looked good but she ate it before I could taste it haha. Good experience would return. Pricey for lunch and portions. We had two babies no problems.
Great food, good portions! Wood fired ovens make the place?
We came here on a Wednesday evening for dinner. The restaurant is very nice and clean, and has great, casual ambience; perfect for a date night or family dinner. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer and the broccoli rabe for starters, the pappardelle bolognese and bucatini with clams for our meal, and the panna cotta for desert.Fried calamari was delicious and crispy, and both of the sauces were a great complement. Broccoli rabe was a little bit skimpy on the portion, but good. Both our mains had perfectly cooked pasta; the bucatini and clams were fresh and light, and the pappardelle bolognese was creamy and hearty. The panna cotta was okay, nothing to write home about.Only complaints were that our table was crooked and didn't sit right, the customer service was acceptable but not great (we also put in our online reservation that we had a birthday/celebration and this was never brought up), and the restaurant was a touch loud although that was mostly just the kids at the table next to us. Overall though, the food was fantastic and it was a very nice night!
We just stumbled upon this restaurant casually; it was right next to our doctor's office. The place is interesting visually, having retained the structure and visible outlook of a factory. We ordered a plate of fusilli all'Amatriciana and an order of fried calamari. The Amatriciana was very good. The guanciale was authentic, but the taste was still not completely there. Unfortunately, having a friend from that area of Italy who is also an excellent cook, I tend to compare so I have not yet found a restaurant that prepares this dish as it really should be 100%. The calamari dish, on the other hand, was perfect, and I have not eaten so well fried and tasty calamari in a while... Service was prompt and courteous.
Worst experience I’ve ever had. The rudest bartender. Did not ever bring my drink and threw menu to me. When I asked for the dessert menu she said “it’s right there you see it”. I would never go back there. I tried and tried to be nice to her and communicate and she ignored me the entire time. Don’t know what I did to her. All my company witnessed it and she also treated another girl In The group same way. Too disappointed.
great food and drinks. nice spot to hang.
