Whenever my hubby and I cruise down Central Ave to go shopping we stop by for a bite at Epstein's in Yonkers. Good service and good wholesome food served in a homestyle simple way. It's just become part of our tradition, and we love it.
Pretty good food. I loved the meat.Great pickles too.Very expensive like everything else around. Over $100 for a family of 5.You can tell there was time and flavor put in to the meat but just so much money makes me not want to come here too often.
Not what it use to be, dry corn beef, Frank's look like it was over done. Chicken noodles soup is still good
I have been ordering takeout for several years. Tried other famous places specializing in Corn Beef sandwiches & chopped liver by the 1/2 pound. Nothing better.
This location is wayyy behind the one in Hartsdale. I had to ask for my Hot Dog Grilled, no bread, got it anyway. Server says they never do that but he would "do it in the back". The Dirty dishes were left in front of us long after we finished. The other order was Half Sandwich of Pastrami. So greasy, she had a hard time so took of the bread and used a napkin to get the grease out. There was a Sign next to us that said if you use a Credit Card you are automatically charged 4% extra!! Are you kidding. The meal was $25 without Tip. Bathroom was disgustingly dirty and could not wait to leave. Only reason we went was to be close to where we needed to be. Never again.
Been going there for years The best kohser restaurant Food was delicious very clean Nothing like a great tasting Jewish deli plus there aren't many around like there use too be Spot on If u like that kind of food
The food wasn't bad, if your in the mood for kosher deli. But nothing compares to Katz's deli .
❌ Warning - Ordered food here for take out served like a dog! Barely no fries on the plate wings where not even hot served cold! BBQ sauce was like eating expired ketchup. NOT only that the soda was Coke a cola it was definitely expired or left out in the kitchen you got warned and yeah ‘
There are too few Jewish dell's left and this is by far one of the best. The owner Al has been behind the counter for years and treats everyone like family. Choose this place over any diner or fast food place for great food and a family experience!
Awesome food, welcoming staff, always awesome atmosphere. They charge fair prices and the food quality is good. Kudos.
