Came here a number of times as far back as 2021. Food was amazing. Came on Tuesday 4/12/2022 (a few weeks after the last time) and called food in around 8:30. Picked up food. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños and a regular cocina double cheeseburger and 2 small fries. A few weeks ago it cost me 21.00 and change. Today it was 30+ for same order. It's what I always order. Get home and food was still hot but had no flavor at all. My daughter's burger was dry, mine was undercooked midway into eating it. I do pink in steak but not burgers. Burgers were smaller and the fries were overcooked. I put ketchup and yellow mustard to add to the cocina sauce and still no flavor. I would have called restaurant before leaving this review but obviously I picked food up at close to closing time. Absolutely the worst experience here by far and if things cannot be cooked consistently I will not be returning for the difference in pricing every time I order and the lack of taste in the meat, and for 30+ I'll go elsewhere. Shame because I liked this place but today left a bland taste in my mouth for my cheat day! I don't understand it nor the difference in pricing when I order the same stuff each time I've been here! Fries overcooked one burger undercooked and one too dry and nothing had any flavor except the fries. Sad
Great burgers. Love the yuca fries. Customer service has been exceptional every time I ordered from there. Considering there are quite a few very good burger joints and restaurants within nearby proximity. This is up there when I decide to indulge in a burger and fries
A close associate of mine invited me to lunch at Cocina Burger Shop. It is about the size of a typical Subway sandwich shop but with a very creatively designed decor. One example is the painting of a gecko in the bathroom...a real eye opener. The menu offerings is really outstanding. I opted for the Cocina burger with a side order of yuca fries and a lemonade. Everything was absolutely delicious and the lemonade was one of the best I ever enjoyed. The service was outstanding and the music selection had my foot tapping the entire time. I can't wait to try some of their other burger choices. You will not be disappointed...believe me.
Quality/fresh food! I had the Impossible burger with a side of yuca fries. All was cooked well & it was ready in 10 minutes. Will come back.
I ordered from them and they were very close to me. I enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. I also saw that they had frozen yogurt in two flavors dulce de Leche and egg nog. They didn’t have it and were polite enough to call and tell me that it wasn’t available on that day. The food was fresh, hot and delivered right on time! Yummy!!?
Best burger I had in a long time..! and trust me, I’ve had them all. ORDER FROM COCINA, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED..
Delicious burger for an affordable price. Ordered the Cocina burger with classic fries and was not disappointed. My only regret is that I didn't add a second patty. Good size burger with the right amount of fixings and sauce. Fries are crunchy and large sized. Ordered with door dash and got my food without issue.
Honestly feels like I’m being served by my cousins, very cozy spot with amazing food!! Got the brunch burger (not pictured) and it was so good it didn’t even make it to the photo shoot. Will come back every time I’m in Yonkers!!
I was there 12/10/2021. Grill cheese very cheesy alittle soggy not to bad but still a great grill cheese like homemade (it’s never perfect). Had a spicy chicken sandwich it was phenomenal layered really well cabbage and the crisply chicken give it a great crunch very appetizing. The passion fruit juice they make is well balanced sweet and tangy. I have the lemonade still haven’t drank it yet probably good as well. Large fries I ordered as well the bag it comes I expected it to be full but it was missing about a quarter, still had a good amount fries for 4 dollars. Fries were tasty not to salty very very very crispy had crunch on every fry. Didn’t even dip the fries in ketchup how good they were. Pleasant experience recommend it to anyone that lives in Yonkers nice and local
Best burger spot in Yonkers. Staff is super friendly food is fresh and glad it's in the neighborhood. Prices are reasonable and before going to these fast food chains please def stop by and try this spot it will not disappoint
