I’m so disgusted with this place I will never be back again. Not one person took accountability for the rude customer service I encountered today. I never felt so racially profiled before and to have not only the workers and bosses come at me and both the men with me is disgusting. I came in earlier for a cake and asked the young lady at the register for the flavors they had of cakes. She sarcastically told me to look at the picture which had no description of the flavors. I then asked the same question and she told me to look at the picture. Her coworker who was watching the encounter spoke up and proceeded to say the flavors vanilla,chocolate, and etc. I picked out a cake and she asked me what I wanted on it. I said it several times and spelled it out several times. To my dismay I still got the cake incorrectly spelled. When I went back to get it fixed the same young lady who said to refer to the picture took back the cake with an attitude and put the cake on the counter walking away with an attitude. I later came back with my brother and partner to speak to management about the situation. All of us are Hispanic and I felt very emotional about the situation. I tried to speak and was shut down multiple times and dismissed. It was three guys and 2 females all coming at once at us. The two men and older women proceeded to make it a point that they were the bosses and this was a family business. There responses were sarcastic and extremely offensive. They went on to say “so what’s the problem” “ you want free cake or something”. They did not reprimand the worker or address the issue in a mature manner. I had a short guy coworker come up behind me and tell me not to speak to the young lady and to speak to the bosses but the young lady first approached me coming out from behind the counter in my face. The guy defended the young lady saying that when she is asked the flavors she tells everyone to look at the photo. The smirked and were laughing at us. The older men proceeded to dismiss my story and say “so she fixed it “. I had to stare multiple times the issue is not that she made a mistake it is the way she handled it. I’m so saddened to experience this racist encounter especially by the bosses and workers of the establishment. I will never come back. The young lady proceeded to say one story and I informed the bosses that was a lie. I said to her for her to be honest and for them to rewind the camera so we can see the real story. They chuckled at the cameras comment and proceeded to be dismissive of me speaking. After telling her to be honest she then switched her story saying she put the cake on the counter and assumed I took it and walked away. I caught her in the lie and let it be known to the older women standing right next to her who heard and saw the whole encounter. The older lady proceeded to get upset with me and defended the young lady worker and spoke up for her saying she didn’t lie. But told two different stories right in front of us. I’m so saddened by this experience and I’m saddened that as a Hispanic minority to still have to deal with racial issues from people in positions of power.
Stay Away! Rude customer service! I entered the location and the staff pretended like I was not there. There are other alternatives to but I’ve cream! PLEASE DONT BUY HERE!
Very rude people, i order a cake four days before and when i went to pick up they said they didn’t make it, very very rude and disrespectful people work there
Didn’t get my orderI order one birthday cake like one night before but when I went to pick up there was no cake, very bad attitude and in the day of my son’s birthday we were white no cake.

Best place to this day to buy ice cream i alway buy coffee ice cream in quart with waffle cone… customer service was great the lady even give me the cone free.

They have such great ice cream and the staff are really nice. The best part is Wednesday is buy 1 get 1 free Sundays! I haven't had an opportunity until now to benefit from it but they were delicious.
Very disappointed in Carvel ice cream. I went to the Yonkers McLean location. Tried a cookies and cream cone and a vanilla caramel crunch cone. Honestly they tasted very similar to each other which should not be the same. It was not good ice cream in my opinion. I don't think the flavor is worth the amount of calories. Will avoid Carvel ice cream in the future.
