This spot is one of my favorite diners in Westchester that keep the old American diner spirit alive. I have been going here with my family for years. Everything on the menu comes out with great portion sizes, tasty. The prompt and great service is also a huge plus! Highly recommend
These guys don’t give you ketchup when you order fries and Burgers, simply un-American. When you call them out on it they can’t admit to forgetting ketchup. The customer is always wrong at this business apparently :( won’t be ordering from here again, raceway diner is much better anyways ?
Staff is friendly. Food is hot and fresh. It comes out pretty quickly. Good for a late night bite.
I have ordered from them many , many times for Delivery and have eaten in the Diner. The Food and Service that I received is Excellent!! I will continue to patronize this Diner.
Outstanding food, with generous portion size at reasonable prices. I would like to compliment my server Alexa who waited on me with exquisite attention when I was seated at the counter, even while she had other tables to look after. She raises the standard for servers everywhere!
BE AWARE!!! I went to the Argonaut diner this evening and ordered the lamb with mint jelly. On the menu it was $23 but when I got the check the price was upped to $28. I asked the waiter about this and he said that in the front of the menu they had a notation that said they had to up the prices because of the pandemic. I called over the manager and he agreed this is their practice. They put one price on the menu and then up the price on the bill. THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTISTS. If anyone had a similar experience as I, please share. Thank you.I received your response. I did not see any postings throughout your restaurant, but I did see the notation in front of the menu that prices went up. This gives off the impression that the prices in the menu are the new prices. If people are ordering food, they should know the price and the waiter should tell them the price difference when they are ordering if it is different than in the menu as to avoid any unpleasant surprises. If anything, my waiter was trying to get me to order a more expensive lamb chop which I said no thank you too. This is what I mean by con artist, you don't tell people the real price until the bill comes. A few years ago, my sister went into your diner to buy a piece of cake she thought was $5.00. When she went to pay for it, the woman said $5.50. My sister said I thought it was $5.00. The woman's response was we mean $5.00 and up. She walked out as even though 50 cents is not much, my sister did not care for this type of practice. I will not be going back myself even though the food was good and it is only 5 minutes away from my apartment.
This place has great service, it holds deep memories for me. This was the place we went to as a family after my grandmother's burial. Goods great, service great, and open late too.
Food was amazing while drunk.....and didn't regret it at all as if it was McDonald's. Now that place is GARBAGE! Go to this diner instead.....it's a MILLION times better
