We were thrilled that they did dinner buffet for Mother's Day. 5 of us plus my parents went for dinner. Everything on the buffet was delicious... dal, aloo saag, chicken malai, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, chana, cauliflower pakora and naan etc.. plus warm gulab jamun, rice pudding and hot chai for dessert. We thought the $18 price was very reasonable for what was offered. We will be back for sure!

Restaurant full of people, open and clearly taking orders (I was asked which order i was picking up, assuming perhaps I was doing deliveries) but unable to take my order because it was a few minutes before the time of iftaar...fair enough.Holding a plate of dates in the face of a fasting Muslim who you just turned away and not having any small compassion...totally unacceptable. This is a business. I don't expect handouts. I prioritize spending money at the presumably halal restaurants. The real issue is that my patronage was not as valuable for some reason. I imagine if I was gora they would have taken my order. I imagine if I was desi I would have been permitted to dine or even invited to open the fast. But quite typically the kallu is entirely disregarded. JazakAllah khayr.

Great ambiance staff is very helpfull. Nice clean restaurant. There chicken boneless biryani is full of taste 5 out of 5 there tandoori dishes are also juicy and yummy 5 out of 5 highly recommended will visit again and recommend you too to visit this restaurant.

This is a must visit place for food.First the best things at this place.Nice food, clean place and friendly staff. Authentic Pakistan ( Punjabi - Faisalabad) style food. If you are in the area, do give them a visit. They were kind enough to serve the starters which had variety of small small items.Went there 3 times. Ordered Chicken Karahi , Palak(no Paneer), Goat Karahi(Peshawasr Charisi Style Karahi - was not in menu but Chef promised it will be authentic), Lassi, Kebab and everything was excellent. They make it at your desired spice level.Improvements1. The ambience is very nice but it is so quiet I can even hear my own hear beat so imagine if people can hear you and you can hear people discussions. Please make it little bit more lively with 2 things.1)Play some music and2) add 1-2 LCDS with local sports or lollywood/hollywood/Bollywood music.2. Your Lahori Kulcha is not Lahori Kulcha. It is Naan. Please improve or rename it. ( I am born and raised Lahori and I know it to the core).Overall 5/5.The Chef Shirazi and owner/Partner Ali are kind and helpful.Note: Neither I am family nor friend but a person who travels a lot for work and ended up daily at a restaurant for lunch or dinner,

Great place to dine and enjoy authentic cuisine of Indian subcontinent

Food is amazing!!! Both quality and quantity. Try the free garlic bread, it’s also amazing

New restaurant replacing prior Namaste kept prior chef. Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Middle east Halal. Seasoned adventuresome consumers for 40+ years of Middle Eastern cuisine we did carry out 4 people, expecting great meals based on 2 day prior local paper review. Veggie Samosas were large but way overcooked and hard as rocks. Chicken Karahi was the star with a fair amount of chicken in a very flavorful and well spiced sauce. Alu Palak was a plentiful serving of spinach but lacked any spice or flavor beyond spinach. Haleem beef had us feeling like Clara Peller of "Where's the beef?" fame, as there was one (very) small piece of shredded beef and the rest must have been left in the pan. Garlic naan was outstanding and with the chicken kept the meal from being a dismal failure. Paya goat was as expected with bone and trotters and flavorful broth but without any meat to gnaw off and gristle was not cooked down to soften adequately. Overall a very dissapointing expensive and minimal valu for the price meal. Would not recommend based on the meal we received.

Syed(the chef) prepared the best chicken tikka masala I've had in Buffalo. Also the Garlic naan is top notch. Overall my experience was great. The food was awesome and the service was great. If you're looking for good Indian/Pakistani food, this is the place to go in Buffalo. Will definitely being going back again! Thanks Shalimar!

The chicken tikka masala and garlic naan are amazing!! Samosas are my favorite appetizer, and you can never go wrong ending the meal with a mango lassi! If you don't know what to get or want to try something new, just ask for suggestions, all the staff is so friendly and helpful.

Best friend Indian food in buffalo, I met the owner of the establishment tonight and he is a true gentleman who is willing to go above and beyond to make your experience wonderful. Highly recommend!
