We have been here few times and the food is awesome .. my kids favorite are Paniyaram and Cone dosa with colorful chutney’s it’s reminds our native. Me and my husband loved the mutton Briyani very tasty and masala flavors makes us feel closer to home. I have seen some reviews about slow service but we felt perfect. It is very good South Indian restaurant in Buffalo..Thank you
I really love the food here. It is the one and only South Indian restaurant I have seen with right recipes. Especially the biriyanis. whatever the biriyani is, it is made in south Indian style and not like the other biriyanis served in other Indian restaurants. Tastes good with less spice levelThalapakattu mutton biriyani- 5/5 . Awesome tasteChicken 65- 4/5Egg fried rice - attached picture 4/5.Egg biriyani - 5/5. They give either the rice of veg biriyani or chicken biriyaniVeg biriyani- 5/55 taste Uthappam - I would give 2/5 . The batter was not that good and uthappam texture was also not up to the mark however the chutney tasted goodPlain parota- 3/5 . Layers was okayAlso they give a side gravy for biriyani either veg or non veg. Overall with the biriyani experience I give 5/5 rating for this restaurant as no where in US I have tasted such good biriyani. Visiting after a long time. This time I am satisfied. Absolutely Good service. Spoken when spoke to, absolutely No Nonsense attitude by staff, however was very courteous and professional. Took the feedback for one side dish and which was taken more positively.Will surely visit next time.
Excellent food, great staff and best services. They have variety options available, and no matter what you order, it will taste great. Must visit if you are looking for options in this area.
Terrible service. Went to pick up my order after Uber Eats delivery was significantly delayed. Despite informing the restaurant earlier on the phone, they asked me to wait for the Uber driver when I reached there. When I insisted that my order was delayed by almost 2 hours, the rude man at the reception asked me to take the bag from a corner instead of handing it over. When I pointed that out, he mumbled about COVID procedure. If that’s true, then that could have been explained in a pleasant and professional manner. If you are not up for basic customer service, then no point being open.
Pre-Birthday Dinner!! It was the best choice we made! Visiting Niagara we found this gem of a place in Buffalo NY with South Indian and Sri Lankan Food!! Amazing!!!I’ve missed having Sri Lankan Food specially the street food Kothu roti and Crabs and Nellai Banana leaf fulfilled all my satisfaction!!We ordered the Mutton kothu roti and pepper Crab masala and chicken 65 buriyani! Oh my what rich flavors!The kothu - cut up roti and pieces of mutton was so good and tasty and really good!! So satisfyingThe Crabs - OMG!! Please order and we asked for extra spicy!! It was Amazing flavors and I’m so glad I had my pre birthday dinner here!!Chicken 65 buriyani also was so good!!The most satisfying meal I had after a long time!!Anyone visiting Niagara or lives in Buffalo or passing by do visit here!Special mention to Dinesh who was also Sri Lankan and I was thrilled to meet him and he was so good!They said they’ll be opening another branch down in Rochester NY! So anyone out there watch out for this place! It’s super and will satisfy all your South Indian and Sri Lankan Cravings!
I’ve been to Nellai so many times and I’ve never had a bad meal. Food is consistently good. They have the best South Indian food in the region ! The service used to be a little slow but the last few times I’ve seen it improve drastically. Dosa, medu vada, chicken chettinad and parota are my favorites here!
Came back empty stomach. I was embarrassed in front of my guests. Food was ordered and it other then me every one got the food except me the host. I thought it would come in 5 min but that was not the case. My entire group finished eating and they also ordered tea and they were finished with that as well but I was still waiting. It was very embarrassing that I took my guests to this restaurant. Never ever go here. I hope this establishment suffers the same embarrassment that I went though today. They lie on your face when they are asked for the explanation. Shame on you guys, There are lot of things that you could do to make money. You are not fit for this industry.
Food was fresh and delicious. The owners were courteous and attending to the needs. The food exceeded expectations. The biriyani was amazing and so is the Fish. Highly recommend it if you are in Buffalo / Niagara Falls area and looking for good Indian food.
