Travelled all night getting home, didnt stop to eat so was hungry when we got back into town. Off the thruway and headed here for breakfast. Ordered 2 specials, The Cowboy...3 egg omelet with sausage, onions, mushrooms, pepper jack cheese and hot banana pepper slices. Came with a side off crispy home fries & choice of bread....sour dough. Filled me up & the wife had a to go box. Also, coffee was excellent. No bitter taste & smooth just a very satisfying cup of coffee.

This is mine and my fiancé’s favorite place to come for breakfast! We come here almost every weekend and the food is always delicious! The staff are some of the nicest people you will meet and they always take time to chat with us while we are there! We love it here!
We just stopped there while we were out shopping. This is not my neighborhood so I just googled restaurants nearby and we chose that one. The food was quite good but the service was a little slow even though there was hardly anybody in there. It may have just been an off day for whoever was working but I would not avoid the place because of that. I would definitely go back again next time I am in the area.
Have been visiting on and off for years, even when they were at the north location in the plaza. The veggie omelette was very good but the home fried potatoes have changed, not for the better. Service was friendly and efficient.
This was my first time eating in this place, the experience was not good. To start, the waitresses were not friendly at all, my waitress was rude, and not attentive to the service she was providing us. Second, the food, the sausage patties where burnt, the home fries had no taste. Last, the ham smell rotten and slimy, and she got annoyed because we asked for lemon for the water. I will never go back there to eat. I don't recommend it to no one.
My husband and I found this hidden gem a few years ago. There food is delicious! We have never had a bad meal at Helen's Kitchen. Their portion size is quite filling. Their prices are reasonable.

Ordered eggs toast fried taters and bacon- left hungry after one bite of the fried potatoes that had a burnt deep fryer chunk and a bite of toast that was all butter with a little burnt bread. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
This is my favorite breakfast place. I love the vibe and the feeling everyone has. The staff is very nice and polite, you can sit at the counter and have a chat with them. The chef who is always there is very nice too, also a very good chef!The food is very tasty. I love to come here. The atmosphere is amazing, I love the classic American diner vibe it has.P.S. They also have bendy straws, you don't find those in other places.
