We were seated near the window in a lovely banquette. Jack was an excellent waiter. We enjoyed our slow roasted chicken with excellent gravy and mashed potatoes. The side salad was delicious with chick peas and tomatoes. Only improvement would be to serve the condiments in a bow, not in a plastic takeout container. The coconut cream pie was heavenly. And the price was reasonable for food and drinks. We will definitely return on our next trip to Buffalo in the fall.

Good old Americana food place with good beer selection. Nice staff, good service.

Warm, inviting locally owned restaurant. Food was tasty, service was excellent. Really enjoyed my experience.

Our dinner was good. The staff was more than accommodating. It was a nice experience. Two in our party had hamburgers - portions were large, tasty and meat cooked to order. The chicken picatta was flavorful. Very delicious, the lemon and capers paired well together. The pork chop was hearty and topped with an apple based compote. Desserts were ok, seemed as though they were from a high end supplier.

My new favorite restaurant,. The Fish Fry, chicken pot pie and french onion soup are the absolute best in the area. And the Giant Pretzel & rarebit cheese sause is awesome....

Just had my baby shower here and everything was fabulous! The two young women who served the event were so nice and professional! The food was delicious and the room was the perfect size for our shower of 28 people!

First time and I can say it was pretty good, had fish fry, half chicken, pot pie and everything was good, a little more season would have been nice. I would definitely recommend this place ?

Great restaurant for a visit. Food was fantastic. Wide selection of cocktails, beer & wine. Old school class done right. The woodwork and atmosphere will make you think you stepped back in time.

We had 20 associates for a Holiday lunch and the staff did an excellent job. Everyone was served at the same time with all meals as ordered. This is our third party there and they exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend them.

My husband asked me where I wanted to go to dinner for my birthday and the Eagle House came to mind. I had eaten here with a friend awhile back and my dinner was absolutely delicious so I figured it would be another good meal............not so much. First off we were put in the back room with a man named Matt Z as our server.......WHY? There were a ton of tables open when we walked thru the restaurant and when we were seated in the back room he had 2 tables and then a huge table of 12, that was sat before us so of course they ordered before us which put our order behind theirs. We listened as that table was ordering and they were asking a million questions besides just placing their order, so to start the dinner we were already on the wrong foot. Had I known this I would have sat at a high top table in the bar and been happier plus I'm sure the service would have been better also. Matt was over whelmed to start so that didn't help. My husband when we were able to order had the salmon special on a lemon sauce which he said did not do much for the salmon it wasn't very good and I opted for the sirloin steak which looked good when it arrived but the one end when I cut into it was all fatty and grizzle a definate disappointing birthday dinner. Matt never checked with us to make sure everything tasted good and was to our liking.......when we were finished he finally seen our empty plates he came over and asked if we had room for dessert by this time dinner wasn't what I was hoping it would be so we said we were full and we opted to stop for coffee and dessert on the way home someplace else. I was utterly disappointed as my first dinner there was so darn good, plus with him being so busy in the back we didn't get the personalized service you would normally get in a place like this. I am also a server and would never make my customers feel like they were not being taken care of no matter how busy I was, first impressions go along way especially in the service industry right now as places are having a hard time finding servers who want to work. This place had plenty of servers and it was pretty full within the entire restaurant so no excuses. Not very impressed this time around.
