This is my husband’s favourite place to eat when we visit Buffalo. We hadn’t been for a couple of years due to the closed border. We always get the beef on weck and are never disappointed. My husband even got one to take back to the hotel to eat later.
The best roast beef sandwiches by far. Potato salad and hot dogs were great. Amazing flavorful shakes.
The line moves fast and is efficient. Service is friendly. There are only a few tables available for sitting though turnover was pretty quick. Still, you may want to go when it’s nice out and sit at the tables outside. Place is known for its beef on weck and didn’t disappoint. Also the inside smells like freshly baked pie, probably because they’re also selling fresh pies.
I love their roast beef and Turkey sandwiches!! I also like their Cole slaw.

I had to try this place as I’m a foodie and it was on a food network show. We Got the beef on Weck, the Polish sausage sandwich and the garlic pepper tenderloin sandwich. While the beef on Weck is what this place is predominately known for and it was delicious- came with a pickle and a small thing of horseradish. It was good but I have to say by far the garlic peppered tenderloin sandwich stole the show for this visit. Absolutely tender -melts in your mouth. The whole tenderloin in one piece is placed between the bun and there is no cutting necessary. You bite into this thing it just melts in your mouth and falls apart. This location of course we visited during Covid so there was no inside seating. The staff was friendly. Inside the seating area was a cooler where they sell kielbasa, ready-made dinners that you can reheat at home such as beef stroganoff etc. They also sold various pies and horseradish mustard and other condiments. Along the wall is placed various photos of celebrities and people who had visited the location. All in all it was a very good experience. We ate in our car in the parking lot and went right back in for two more different kinds of sandwiches which we split amongst ourselves so we can honestly say we tried as much as we could in his visit lol. Definitely would return for the beef tenderloin sandwich. And one would not be enough you would have to go back for a second.!

Spoiler Alert: it is and then some These Beef on Weck sandwiches are very excellent - very very excellent - they are done right and we also enjoyed our onion rings We sat outside snd just had a wonderful time Should we ever be back in Buffalo we will visit multiple times Go enjoy
