we found this amazing restaurant on a whim driving up north.. we stopped to eat and we were not disappointed. the food was fantastic. the staff was delightful. portions were large. I can't wait to find myself on a road trip back to this restaurant soon.
Excellent! Francesca the daughter of the original owner is a sweetheart. She made me feel so comfortable and she was very accommodating. The food was delicious. I will be back!
Food is very good only downfall is they will not take any reservations but if you arrive between 5/6pm you will get seating. Usually most busy after 7pm and closed on Monday’s
Wonderful food, comfortable atmosphere, and courteous service. A very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere!
Have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. Friday nights and the most delicious sausage pies! Went there for the first time in 5 years, and everything was still delicious. Frank and Francesca are there working hard along with their familial and friendly staff. The decor hasn’t changed in my 38 years of going there, and that’s a great thing if you’re into nostalgia. Francesca let my friend and I in on something I never knew about the pizza…the dough they use to make them is sourdough! Is that the key to what makes them the best pies out there? Not sure, but this place is it for me. Francesco’s is the BEST neighborhood restaurant for Italian food. Oh and one last thing. Call ahead and make a reservation; it can get super busy in the evenings, especially during the weekends!
It was my 1st time at this restaurant. I walked in with a friend for dinner. A rude waitress told us it was a 25 minute wait and that we "should wait in the car" on a freezing cold night, without even the courtesy of looking at us directly!! The bar was hopping. She could have asked us to wait at the bar. What an awful experience!!I don't care how good food is. If the service is not courteous and pleasant, especially in today's world, there's something significantly wrong with the establishment.
I walked in with my friend and a very rude waitress told us it would be 25 minutes for a table and we should wait the car on a freezing cold night. The bar was open yet we were told to wait in the car. They have lost my business.
Great service and delicious food. Do not miss this traditional Italian gem in White Plains
