Wow that was a good cup of coffee! Highly recommended for the unique and delicious drink offerings they provide. Bakery looked absolutely amazing, but I didn't have the chance to try.I had the White BonBon to switch from my usual Cortado, and was delighted. Sweet, but with the flavor of perfectly roasted espresso underlying the milky perfection.I've spent the last several weeks sampling the famous coffee houses of Westchester (Labs, Slave, Black Cow, Village) and honestly, Araras is up at the top of my list! I'll be back soon to try their coffee without the extras, but I already have absolutely no doubt it will impress. Skip the drive to Tarrytown, Croton, ect and get the same gormount coffee in WP.Note: DO not park in the local CVS, they will boot you within mins, and charge 75 dollars to remove the boot. It is an absolute racket. The coffee is amazing, almost worth the 70 bucks ?
OUTSTANDING pastries - I was speechless. We had the Alfajores (shortbread) with what I think was a caramel type filling. We also had a chocolate brigadeiro. Both were the best desserts I’ve had in a while - melt in your mouth and extremely high quality. I think they hand you these at the gates of heaven. For savory, we also tried the Coxinha, which was a chicken filling in a croquet (just the smell was to die for) and the pão de queijo. Both were delicious and satisfying little snacks.I am lactose intolerant but let me tell you, trying these was WORTH it - truly haven’t tasted a dessert that stopped me in my tracks like that in ages.
Great place for coffee and wonderful Brazilian pastries.
Best place for coffee in White Plains, I almost lost all hope before I found Araras. The coffee is great and the shop is cute and creative. The staff are friendly and helpful as well.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! food is so delicious, they are so friendly. Highly recommend them. I loved it!
Tried this place for the first time this past weekend . WOW ! I had the white bon bon latte and hubby had the brigadeiro iced coffee and of course we had to try the coxinha with catupiry chicken ball with cheese . It was all sooo delicious ! Excellent customer service the mini store has all sorts of Brazilian products . As a Brazilian native I 100% recommend this for everyone to try ! You won’t be disappointed! Will definitely be back with my family .
ICED COFFEE REVIEW on Youtube: Franjez. The Dulce De Leche is DELICIOUS!
Best coffee shop in white plains! I’m a long time costumer, when I lived close I was in here just about every weekend. Go have an espresso with some pao de queijo!
So, this is a very cute Brazilian coffee shop with an adjoining mini mart. Visited here because I have an affinity for quaint shops and I needed caffeine. STAT. Stepped in and was impressed by the overwhelming coffee choices for such a small place. I ordered an iced pumpkin spiced cappuccino (because.... It's Fall, y'all!) and tried their cheese bread, which is exactly what it sounds like - melted cheese in a soft doughy round bread. The cappuccino had an authentic taste to it as it didn't automatically remind me of Starbucks or Dunkin whilst the shop had a nostalgic feel because a lot of their foods reminded me of my past Caribbean life.I would visit here again, if only to bring a book and sit outside while enjoying their coffee. A missed opportunity for sure, but I look forward to capitalizing on it next time.
Great coffee shop in White Plains serving Brazilian food and specialty coffee. Insteresting specialty coffee menu and great snack options. There is limited space inside if you want to sit down but they have outdoor seating as well. Clean with a great vibe and friendly staff ??
