Great food, nice atmosphere, very good service.
We had ate at Alex's before Covid and decided to try eating again in a restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, huge portions, and the staff was extremely attentive. We are going to eat there again in another few weeks.
Quality of food was very good. Nice sized portions. Apps a little high in price but very good. Mains were very fairly price, very good quality, really nice portions. Service was also very good. Well worth the vist. We will return.
purchased steak one time went to pick it up asked for it medium it came out well done host told me as i called and complained and told me i was wrong and refused to give money back and umi had to get anotther steak which was then kind of rare and host asked me to bring back steak so i did this weas many months ago just got around to writing review now
I rarely leave reviews but my experience at Alex’s was excellent and had to share! They have an amazing bar with very attentive people behind the bar. The staff here takes care of you like family and the food was high quality and delicious (I had the cavetelli w sausage and broccoli rabe). This is a hidden gem…the place is full of regulars because you just want to keep going back!
I really wanted a good steak. So someone suggested I try this place. Hands down top 5 steak of my life. Staff was great. Environment was great. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town!!
Always a favourite of mine. Top 5 worldwide restaurants, with great waiter service. Looking forward to visiting this week.
Worst customer service I have ever seen. Roaches in the bathroom, and food still on the silverware. You'll be better off getting Mcdonald then eating here, at least least that way your not over paying for trash.
Heard about Alex's for many years and never has the pleasure of going. Big drinks and many people i know having dinner. Bar was packed and from the moment i sat down to when i left the service and food was great. Big orders, we had baked clams and they were great.I had a veal chop which was excellent. Definitrly going again.
We really like this restaurant and have been here several times. We really like the how they start off, a mini antipasti with a few pieces of cheese and sopressata and a fresh basket of bread with olive oil with spices. The entrees were all prepared well, if you want something moderately priced, they have it covered. Seafood and Steaks are higher, but that is aligned with the inflation we are experiencing. The homemade Italian cheesecake is about the best we have ever tasted. The restaurant is cozy and the management and waitstaff our very attentive. We will be back soon.
