Let's go, let's go. Have ya been on Long Island lately? Well here's a great, and I mean great reason to jump in the Batmobile and take a spin. First off, and this is no disrespect, but I've been looking for a real Italian restaurant for years now, that can compare with the food made by the older Italian neighborhood mom and pop stores where I grew up back in Da Bronx. Well, I am super excited to announce, ta daaaaaa, Mama Theresa's. All I gotta say is I love the veal parmesan. Stay tuned. Better yet see for yourselves. Peace. Latest update since memorial day weekend 2022, this store was closed due to a power failure according to a note on the store door. Caution, call before you go! Sorry guys!
APPALLING experience. We placed an order for pickup at 6:30. Granted, it was Mother’s Day and our order was relatively large. However, we placed the order in the morning- far enough in advance to account for timing. Upon arrival, they asked us for payment when the order was paid for that morning when the order was placed. We then proceeded to wait 45 minutes after the pickup time for them to tell us that they forgot to make the grilled salmon we ordered (the priciest item in our order). They told us to just wait 10 more minutes. We waited another 30 minutes totaling up to 1 HOUR and 15 MINUTES AFTER our pickup time for everything to be ready. They apologized for any inconvenience and provided discounts on our next visit. I bring the bags of food home to my family who at this point was really hungry as we had anticipated eating an hour earlier, and as we begin unpacking, a COCKROACH crawls out of the bag. At this point, I am furious. We couldn’t bring ourselves to eat any of the $200 order that we had already waited so long for. I called them in absolute disgust, and although they gave us a full refund on our food, the experience was inexcusable.
It's an institution. Can't ever go wrong with this place. Eat on or take out ... The service is always fast & courteous. Food is priced right and always perfect. Sauce is perfect.Bellissimo !!!
This place made my stomach hurt. The cheese on my pizza tasted old. My sausage wasn't cooked and the ? sauce was flavorless. The cream on my coffee cappuccino was delicious. Bag that up for me please. I will not go her for pizza again.
The food is consistently great but the staff always seems rushed and bothered to have to serve customers, and it's one of the most expensive pizzerias in the area. Friendliness and a smile go a long way, therefore I really only eat here if passing by or out of convenience, not by choice.
Great menu. Chicken Tremmazino is amazing. Restaurant seating was nice and renovated. Nice pasta dishes with great service; not JUST a pizzeria.
Waitor got my order wrong 3 times...and tried to serve it to me! On the 3rd time. Not hard to order capellini primavera with fusili and red sauce. My dinner guest the shrimp was overcooked tasted freezer burned, bread stale. What happened to this place? Food was always great. So sad, i was disappointed.
One of the best. Great food, large portions, well priced, fast, friendly service. Always a great meal!
Tonight was my first time here. I have a regular slice and a sausage and pepper roll. Both were delicious . Great service they immediately greet you and help you. They work well together as a team. I had half of my roll to take home. On my way out one of themanagers gave me another sausage roll!
Pizza is good but for better food I would go to La Piazza in Merrick or in Plainview.
