I love their food, especially because there aren't many halal Chinese places around. Their prices for dinner can be little on the high side.
This is my 1st time experience...customer service was on spot. Food was delicious and affordable. I will try more in future.
Order few different soups , didn’t like it , less chicken with lots of oily taste
Seriously don't sleep on this place. We tried this place a few times and "WOW" food is really good from Chinese to Thai. So far all the food we ordered is fresh, flavorful and not oily/salty. The service is a little slow but if you order ahead you shouldn't have any problems. The prices are very fair in comparison to the amount of food given. In conclusion I can honestly call it the best Chinese and Thai food takeout in the Westbury area.
Best halal chinese in all long island and they have thi! They will make you a dish not even on the menu! Delicious too!!
Food was good quality wise, but had to go home and fix it up since it had not taste to it. It had no spice as I was just tasting the food. Have you ever eaten a sandwich, and you taste the bread more than the meat, well that's how it tasted like. One thing I didn't like which is wrong, I ordered $60 worth of food and the lady at the counter charged me for extra sauce. She told me that she gave me one buy I only saw four which I paid for, what happened to the free one. One little sauce will not cover 5 containers of food. I paid the extra money but I might not go back because of that. I would have understood if u gave me one for each dish and charged me after that. I will post the picture of the sauce. Container is not ever full, mainly oil
More like a typical Chinese take out joint. With a name like basil express their Thai food is lacking plenty. Good service. Clean place.

Hubs and I were hungry for Chinese so decided to give Basil Express a try. We ordered over the phone chicken corn soup, combo plates of sweet sour chicken, sesame chicken and honey garlic chicken. We loved the soup. It was so good. I liked the sweet and sour chicken, the chicken pieces were nice and soft. Hubs found it a little dry but I told him he needed to add more sauce. Hubs enjoyed the sesame and honey garlic chicken more. I liked everything. The chicken egg rolls were ok, might have been better if we were eating them hot but dipped them in the hot sauce and we enjoyed it. Definitely we will be ordering from there again. We picked up the order 30 minutes after ordering it
Hands down one of the best halal Chinese food restaurants in Long Island. Very clean and delicious Chinese food. They have a variety of everything! This is a must try. We eat here at least 3x a month. Tom kha ga soup is the best I have ever had.
