Horrible experience! There were 4 of us for dinner on mother's day. After waiting over 1 hour for our dinner, 2 ordered steaks. The steaks which were ordered medium came out rare. the server offered to put them back on the grill. One in the party agreed to that. My husband said the meat was so chewy he didn't want it. He ended up not wanting anything as we were all done with our dinners. No one came to the table to acknowledge the long wait or the bad food. Such a horrible experience. I wish we had read the reviews before were went as they were accurate.

First time we've been to Nucci's and everyone was friendly from the moment we stepped inside to the person who said goodbye as we walked out the door. The Mrs. had the Brazilian lobster tail and I had the haddock french. We also started with the cream of asparagus soup. Everything was excellent - exceeded expectations! Our waiter spent time expaining the menu with us as well as his other customers so there was one moment we asked one of the other servers to grab a glass of wine for us. It was no big deal and they were happy to do it. Will definitely go back!

The owners true colors came out. He was VERY RUDE to our entire table. It was my birthday and thought it would be nice to have it at this restaurant which was a huge mistake!!! I regret bringing my friends and family to this place. I was so embarrassed for his son who served our table. We told him sorry he had a father like that and he told us I have to live with that my whole life. Mr. Nucci needs to hang up his coat and pass the business on to someone who actually likes people and has great customer service. This is so sad. Ppl shouldn't have to deal with this kind of treatment as paying customers.

Not sure where to begin, very disappointed and distasteful by the chef. Our waiter was nice, upon arrival the host was nice, everything was nice up until we got food. Even with me not liking my food the waiter told me the chef was mad and would still charge me for the food I took one bite out of. As a chef you always want to please your customers and also have an understanding that not ever is going to like the way you make food. I felt the situation was not dealt with properly and felt there was no passion or love when making the food. I did get offer chicken French but even that did not taste well and they made me feel guilty about not liking it and my fiancé’s lobster tail was like rubber, it needed a steak knife. For $130 this was not worth it at all.

THE OWNER IS HORRIBLE AND EXTREMELY RUDE TO HIS CUSTOMERS. By looking at other reviews, there seems to be a common trend that the owner of this restaurant has very poor customer service. My fiancé and I came here this past Saturday at 5:30. We gave our selves an hour in half for dinner and needed to leave around 7 for a movie. It took about 10 minutes for our server to come over and greet us. When he came over we put our entire order in right away. Around 6:45 we started to get a little concerned that we were not going to get our food in time. When we finally got our servers attention to come over we asked if our food was going to be coming out and mentioned that we needed to leave for a movie. He said they just put our food down so we decided to cancel our order. The owner then came over to our table and got extremely confrontational about our cancellation basically blaming us for not making the server aware that we needed to leave at a certain time and that we cost him $80. We obviously defended out selves and told him we didn't think we needed to let the server know this when we had an hour in half. He got very loud with us and was basically yelling at us for cancelling putting the entire blame on us not making the server aware we were in a "time crunch". I have NEVER BEEN TREATED THIS POORLY at a restaurant before and will not be returning and will continue to share our horrible experience to anyone that mentions wanting to come here. I think it might be time for the owner to retire before he further ruins his reputation.

It's always obvious when a restaurant just doesn't care.No friendly greeting and barely any acknowledgement upon arrival. Waited 15 minutes to be sat without explanation as to why and despite having shown up on time for the reservation that was made and the restaurant being half empty.Meal experience was sub-par. Food took a long time to come out. Prime rib was cold. Side dishes did not come out with the main dishes but rather after the main dishes were dropped off and having to remind our server what they were. Porkchops were not cooked as requested and were rubbery. Chicken French cutlets looked anemic. Bill was not correct. In total what should have been an hour and half dinning experience was dragged out to almost 3 hours because of the restaurant's inability to operate properly. Management was not visible and when an issue arose that required management to make a decision the response we got was the manager needed to check with his dad (I presume that means the owner)We will not be coming back and we will not be recommending.

One of the best Italian dishes I’ve ever had in my life staff and Jeremy nucci were absolutely phenomenal we had a party of 22 and it was the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in the last 5 years at least. I couldn't Say enough about these people old school Italian atmosphere and they absolutely killed it. I’d highly recommend this place!!

Judging by the increasing number of negative reviews for this place, it sounds like if the owner is so miserable, it might be time to hang up the towel and call it quits so their family name doesn’t keep getting stained. I, too, had a pretty disappointing experience here after being told this place was so great. There is nothing about it that is setting it apart from other basic Italian restaurants. Save your money and go to a restaurant where you know you’ll be treated correctly. We will not be back here again.

This restaurant is terrible. I ordered from them for the first time on GrubHub, and I didn't receive the sides I ordered. No big deal, I just requested a partial refund from GrubHub and went on trying to enjoy the dinner (the food was aggressively bland, and the $42 steak I got was the least seasoned piece of meat I've ever eaten in my life). I get a phone call from the restaurant with someone inquiring about the refund. I explain the situation to them, only to have the employee began yelling at me about how I should have known that GrubHub didn't display their menu right (I've never been there prior to this) and how I should never have gotten the refund as it's not the restaraunt's fault. I tried to be understanding, but she kept yelling so I finally hung up. I'm not picky about service usually since I have worked in service industry and understand how grueling it can be, but this was entirely unacceptable and unprofessional. Save your money and go to Grappa or Delmonico's for good Italian cuisine, the service at those places is always top tier, and so is the food. I'll never be back here again.

Worst I've ever been treated at a restaurant. My wife made reservations for three early in the day. When we got there, we were not immediately greeted by anyone on staff, which wasn't a huge deal, but it just got worse from there. The restaurant was only at about half its capacity and we were the only people waiting to be seated. After a short three minutes of standing and feeling invisible, my wife stopped one of the waitresses to tell her our name and that we had a reservation. She was able to get the attention of the host, who we believe is also the owner. His greeting was less then cordial and one where he seemed putout that he had to get up from his chair at the bar. He grunted by telling us that it would take a few minutes which wasn’t an issue. However, two minutes later, he re-approached us and spoke rudely saying that our reservations were set for three people, not two. As he only saw the two of us, he demanded we wait for the third to arrive. My wife explained that she initially called in for three but an hour later called the restaurant to clarify that there would now only be two. The owner said that he never got that message and his attitude seemed to demonstrate that there was a problem that such trivial information did not get cleared with him. My wife questioned him whether that caused an issue? He then proceeded to scold my wife claiming that she got “in the face” of one of the waitresses which apparently didn’t sit well with him. That hardly was the case at which point we turned around and said we are leaving. His tone was harsh and uninviting. Even if we hadn't called ahead to change our party size from three down to two, I wouldn't think it would be an issue given how the restaurant was less than half capacity. We will not be returning.
