Staff was really friendly. Food was tasty. But the portion sizes are problematic. Basically paid for a bowl of kale with hardly anything else in it. Not to hate on kale, it's good. But I was expecting something much different than what I was served. I ate the tiny scoop of toppings off the bowl of kale and headed next door to Chipotle for lunch. Would have asked for my money back if the staff hadn't been so nice when I was ordering.
I had a delicious lunch, and I got to customize the add-ins as I walked past the serving area. They have spacious seating indoors and a pleasant, shaded outdoor area.
Agree with others on portions. I am not big on extra meat either. I don’t know if this is normal but mine had Almost no chicken I had to pick thru my lettuce and rice just to make sure they didn’t forget to put it in. They overfill with rice and beans and lettuce to make up for chicken. Not really what I was looking for. Good healthy options. Clean friendly. might want choose chipotle next door if you are big on protein.
Came in on my lunch break for a wrap may 5th, 2022 at 2pm. It was very quite and the two girls behind the counter did not move in urgency and seemed very unhappy being there. The cherry on top was when I saw an employee break a yoke with a spatula and then PUT IT BACK INTO THE HOLDER without cleaning it off. I’m scared to come back here because of the risk of getting salmonella poisoning. Do better food safety training and customer service training please.
Healthy wraps and bowls. Counter service moves things song. Good for after yoga to feel good about yourself and fill up and fuel up.
I originally posted a very negative review, because I was frustrated with the app and long wait for my food. The owner reached out, very quickly, and offered a free meal. Thank you for your help and understanding.Instead of being negative, I would rather share somethings constructive, that may be out of the control of the owner and could be of help to other customers. I ate at the Webster CoreLife a few times before the pandemic and the food and service were good. I am used to the typical American fast-food diet, so it is an adjustment to eating healthier, more natural foods. What I ate back then tasted good, but wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Last month I received an offer for a free meal for my birthday. I planned for my family to buy their meals and to have my free offer. I activated the offer in the app, then found that it didn't apply to the mobile order and could only be used in-store. I tried to un-do this so I could order ahead, but there was no way I could find to do this. I was really frustrated because just about every other mobile food app allows you to redeem in app and apply to an order to pick up.I reluctantly went to the store and used the free offer and ordered three meals. I was told that the soup base for one order wasn't available, so I substituted it. I was told the peppers and onions for a second order weren't ready but they could cook some quickly if I wanted to wait, so I waited. This ended up with me waiting an extra 20 minutes. When I got home, I found the order with the substituted soup broth also was completely missing the chicken that was supposed to be included. At that point, I was just angry and felt I would never go again. After thinking this over and seeing the owner's quick response I want to be more reasonable about this. CoreLife Eatery does offer a lot of healthy and nutritious options. The food is prepared well and usually tastes good. I think the pandemic has messed up everything for store owners nationwide with short staffing and supply chain issues and we are all just tired. Thanks again to the owner for help with this situation.
Skip this place and head to the chipotle next door. Portions here are horrible. They gave me 4 pieces of chicken and called that a full portion.... i asked for more they gave me 3 more pieces. Customer service isn't their strong suit either. Definitely won't be coming back here!
The service is terrible, staff is always rude. The kid who cashed me out today had his mask down the entire time and didn’t say a word to me. Didn’t offer me bread and when I asked for it he grabbed it with his mask down talking to his coworker the entire time, threw it in the bag and said nothing. Train your staff better on customer service.
Unfortunate to be required to wear a mask in a business that is so dirty. Front doors, touched by everyone are filthy, as are the light fixtures and trash area. If the mask is so precious why are there so many in the front garden? Thank God I still have freedom of choice at Wegmans.
Rude service, person making my salad poured sauce on that wasn't on the list of ingredients & was acting super annoyed like it was my fault I asked for a new one & told me I had to wait 5 extra minutes. Not my mistake! Ended up canceling my order & leaving because she was so rude! Never going back.
