Straightforward review: HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, REPULSIVE, DISGUSTING, unfortunately there is absolutely NOTHING good to say about this establishment.
Service was beyond slow on our visit. The dining room was half empty there were tables with dirty dishes that stayed that way for most of our visit. Food was fine but the service is what would keep us away. The whole staff that we encountered gave us the feeling they did not care and didn’t want to be there.
Currently at the place, 30 minutes in, still waiting for my food. Just got coffee and water. No follow-up, at least asking if we would like more coffee. Will update with FAST review once we finish.Food: was cold. Seems it was sitting there for a while. Lost my appetite with the wait, and that the food was cold made it worse..Ambience: Typical diner feel. There was a napkin on the floor the entire time we were there. A table across (in the pic) was left as is the entire time we were there. So, cleanliness is a matter of question.Service: the server was very courteous and polite, but was very slow.Time: It took us all of 70minutes to get in and out, that's considering we ate fast and asked for the check instead of enjoying the food (though not much to enjoy) or waiting for the server to approach us asking if we needed anything (we needed to get out soon).
The Watertown New York location looks like it's closed when you pull up and under the circumstances I would say it probably should. I'm not going to go into much detail other than the fact that being the lone customer and being treated so rudely by the waitress and then being dismissed by the supposedly restaurant manager. And then corporate customer service stating each location is responsible for their own customer complaints. I feel the need to warn others not to waste your time with this location. Single customer 45 minute wait for the correct meal and then to be told by the waitress on the way out"I work for a living and live off my tips" just took it over the top. Only things manager would say was thank you for this training opportunity I now have to present to my staff and after again reminding the individual how much money I spent at their restaurant and how I was treated stated well if you want a free meal you have to come in when I'm available Thursday through Sunday 8:00am to 1:00pm
Worst experience ever. Sat down and every table around us was dirty and covered in food. Had to ask for a menu, and then the server finally came and got drink orders. Brought my toddlers glass cups to use. Ordered food and waited 40 minutes with nothing. No server, no drink refill and no food. Finally decided to talk to a manager and she was absolutely rude. Basically told me it was my fault but she would expedite our food. When she brought out the wrong food proceeded to tell me that’s what I ordered. If I could give no stars I would. I will never return to this ihop. Disgusting, both management and facility.
I usually love IHOP, this place was so disappointing. If I could give it zero stars I would. Waitress sat us at dirty table. There were dirty tables all around. The place was nearly empty but instead of seating us spaced out, we were all in one corner. Took forever to order. Waitress brought cold coffee and forgot cream. We had to get up and go over to register and ask her to bring more coffee and cream. There was no one at register and she did not appear to be doing anything. 4 different people came to the table. Half the food came out and we still didnt have our silverware. Had to flag waiter down to get anythinh we needed. Eggs were covered in grease with black chuncks of whatever was on the grill last. Wait staff appeared to not care about serving and were very uncoordinated. I could hear a womans voice in the kitchen yelling at people from across the restaurant. They never served us half what we ordered and we finally left.Worst dining experience ever.If they don't get a manager in there to train staff they won't be open long!!
Arrived at 10:05am, waited 10 minutes before anyone came to seat us.Waited 20 more minutes noone came to get our orders-we left.About 6 tables were occupied, floors and tables filthy.Staff just walking around not cleaning not serving not taking orders.Will never go back.
Ordered a meal for delivery, they forgot to include their $7 milkshake and instead added bacon. Not the first time I've had issues with them. Do not recommend.
Our server, Isaiah, was very nice and respectful. The cooks need to learn how to cook. My plate of food was swimming in grease. I asked for my bacon to be crispy what I got was half cooked and half fat, and they were stuck together. My crepe was so hard I couldn't cut through it, but hey I got to eat the strawberries at least.. come on IHOP do better
To start, I am a long time fan of IHOP and have always loved their food and friendly customer service, but today I only enjoyed the food (kind of). The hostess sat us down and we sat there for half an hour before our server finally showed up (it wasn't busy at all and multiple people who sat after us were served all in the time it took her to take our order). She took our order and dropped off our drinks and didn't see her for the next hour that we waited for our food. Another server dropped it off and another person fixed what was wrong with my girlfriends meal. I finally had to chase her down for our ticket so we could leave and get on the road( because we had plans that had to get pushed back due to the poor service and long wait time)
