After 2 weeks of heat being only the sun's rays, we needed some heat-heat. En route from upstate NY to IN, we were delighted to find this unassuming little gem of spiciness. We ordered the duck tongue dish, dried fried pork intestines, and chicken feet. My fiance loved the duck tongue. It was an acquired taste for me. The chicken feet was cooked beautifully, but I wasn't too thrill about the sauce on them. The intestines? Perfect. Delicious. One of the best intestine dishes I've ever had. The service was great and we love that every table has a charging station for your phone. The only sad thing is this place is too far from us to try again. Maybe if we're ever back out in the area. Definitely.
Great authentic food, had the beef belly noodle soup, absolutely full of flavor, somewhat spicy, but tasty as heck. Delicious dim sum options, I grew up in Flushing NY surrounded by a heavy Chinese & Korean populations and always love the authentic styles over the generic American stuff, this place has that authenticity. Check it out !
Very clean place great atmosphere awesome food nice staff
A beautifully decorated restaurant that serves you tasty authentic Chinese food in an artful presentation that unfortunately suffers from mediocre customer service.I walked in and was seated immediately but the host was so cold and miserable in her demeanor. I was given a menu, she said nothing and went back to the hostess stand. The restaurant was pretty dead at the time, it was just 3 parties in the restaurant including me. It took a few minutes for my server to get to me. The wait was long enough that I decided I was going to eat elsewhere but before I could get up, my server finally made it over to me.She was equally as cold and miserable as the hostess. She sits my water on the table and says "Ready to order?" in a serious tone. I feel like I'm bothering these people at this point.Order my food which came out sizzling hot quick. Food was delicious served in reasonable portions. A bit pricey but worth it. My order came to $42, $52 with a tip. When I walked in, I had this place at 2 stars based off the cold demeanor of the employees. My food was delivered quickly and it was quite delicious so it bumped up my review to 3 stars.Everyone has bad days so I'm going to give this place the benefit of the doubt and leave a final score of 4 stars. This place would easily be 5 stars if the employees were more friendly and inviting.
My rating is for the food only, the service does not deserve even a star. We had a dinner on the first Lunar Year's week. The place had at least 8 occupied tables with only one server. So we were told to set in a specific area to make it easy for her. There were many delivery orders that kept the staff busy, and by now, I know why people opt for delivery and not come to dine-in.. Its service. The server wasn't polite, didn't respond well to questions, and obviously overworked. I can also see other customers eyeing each other when she serve them. I can understand the shortage of working hands, but they could have handled it better. The food was good, but the whole experience isn't. I will never try to dine in again, maybe delivery.
My student recommended it when I told her sometimes I just want steam buns I don't have to make. ? I'm going to have to thank her! Very nicely decorated. Clean. Staff was friendly. Got pork buns, crispy beef, egg roll, and lotus to share with my mom. The beef and lotus weren't what we thought they were, but we agreed they were delicious! 10/10 looking forward to going again!
My wife and I stopped by for lunch and it was by far the best Chinese food we have had in the area. Everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food was great. The food was so fresh and delicious. Would definitely be back.
The food was excellent and the ambiance was great. This is not just an ordinary Chinese restaurant with a fish tank! We sat at a booth, which has some kind of cook top on it (we didn't use it; it was covered). I would suggest seating in an area without this if you don't need it as it does cut down on leg room.
I gave a 3-star review because of I'm extremely disappointed with the service received. I had gone to dine at the restaurant with my daughter on the way back to Toronto from New York. The food is good, but the service is so poor. I have to ask 3 times for some hot tea. After an hour, finally got my tea. I think for a Chinese restaurant, the hot tea should be the first thing bring to the table, isn't right?
Wow! I did not expect this gem in the college plaza! It's is extremely beautiful with lots of flowers, maximizing the whole space. I remember this place before it was Red Chili. The conveyer belt? Now boasts beautiful pots. The tables have the actual dry put feature. There are large, manorous dividers between tables. Beautiful chandeliers with koi circling. Manor wall vases and decals. This seems to be true dim sum, rolling cart and all. There are big and small dishes for sharing and sampling and pairing. The good is excellent! I actually don't like too spicy. I'm here to scope a venue for a graduation party. I sampled dishes on the lower end of the fire and Pepper indicators. It was incredible! I haven't had such good cuisine since I visited LA in 2018. Quality spices seem to be the secret. This isn't the Pepper you get from a McCormick bottle! The texture is also excellent.
