I just wanted to thank the manager heather and the server kailyn go their amazing help today. They are truly angels and helped restore my faith in humanity! I had a rough week and I decided to order brunch today with my friends but there was this huge situation with door dash. The staff was so sweet and understanding, they were also really patient because we came during rush hour but they still checked on us. They eventually got us our money back and were so kind during the process. They handled everything so well and it made me do happy that there’s still kind people in this world. We went to IHOP today for lunch / late breakfast and were told they were on a “Hold” and couldn’t seat us because they had a “big to go order”. The restaurant was near empty with plenty of room available. Even though the hostess was apologetic, this was deplorable and NOT customer friendly what so ever. I am handicapped and walking is difficult, we stood there waiting for a table, to no avail. I’ve been here many, many times and they just lost my business.

We were a group of 12 tonight. Our waitress was awesome! They had one cook and I believe only the one waitress. All of our food was made to order, correct, hot, and delicious! She handled everything with professionalism and actually took a couple of photos for us too. Not only that, but she also had a group of 8-10 come in behind us. She still paid good attention to us, kept drinks full, and was very pleasant! Thank you for a great dinner experience! I’m not a huge IHOP fan, but I Definitely recommend this IHOP!
Absolutely terrible service this morning. Started with a 15 min wait, thats fine. Waited for 20 minutes before waitress came to our table. In the mean time 4 more tables were seated and had drinks already. Took another 15 to get our drinks, waitress stunk like cigarettes. We were there 1 hour 15 minutes before we got our food, from the time were were sat down, we tried to leave before the food came out and just pay for our drinks, but miraculously our food was ready. We sat back down to eat, they kept bringing our food to us because they forgot stuff. Waitress forgot about a refill. Wife talked to waitress and explained nicely that we had to go because our 2 kids had sports to go to. The waitress made it out to her that it was our fault for coming in on a Saturday morning. She also stated that they had a big party to fill their food before us, mind you, they were seated 20 min after us and had their food before us. Even though parking lot was half empty, and plenty of tables open.
This IHOP location was better before the COVID shutdown. Before the shutdown, I never had any issues with my food orders. Ever since the re-opening, they have periodically gave me the wrong meal and when they give me the correct meal it has been over cooked and at times under cooked. They've gotten worse and I hope this changes because I used to go here at least once per week before COVID shutdown without issue. Due to the constant issues after their re-opening, I'm very turned off by them and haven't been back there the last 4-5 months.

My family and I went to IHOP tonight in vestal and it was absolutely disgusting. My pancakes were cold dry old and so hard you couldn’t cut through them with a knife, the French vanilla ice coffee which I have ordered many of times in the past is now just luke warm coffee there was no ice it wasn’t sweet like it use to be. It use to be premade and now they slam it in front of you in a to go cup with sugar packets and mini creamers and tell you make your own we don’t make it. But yet I saw a different waitress bring it out in a glass like they use to. Idk why ours was not: They forgot my husbands food and when they finally brought it after we all had finished eating it was missing the hash browns and the eggs were slimey and gross and the bacon wasn’t even cooked. Out waitress was awful and rude. My kids food was the same cold old and hard. We use to love going there as a family I don’t know what happened but it’s a shame. We will never go back.
Service was great and friendly. Crepe’s we’re not prepared properly, the berries were ice cold and kept the cheese from melting which made the crepes cold by the time I got them. Still a good dish just need to work on prep timing and presentation. My wife had the chicken fried steak which was fantastic and of course the pancakes are wonderful.
