I enjoyed the vibe and the atmosphere the wings are pretty good especially if you want them well done they definitely understand the assignment.The drinks are on point too

My first time at Charlie Meaney's was on a football Sunday. My bf was ecstatic and really enjoyed watching the games. The atmosphere is on point for a sports bar. However, the food is nothing special. We ordered the MexiCali nachos. As it was brought to the table, the melted cheese was extremely cold and hard. We went back a week later and I decided to give the food another shot. I ordered the habenero wings, Buffalo chicken quesadilla, and fries. The sauce on the wings were great, but the texture of the wings was not good at all. Very hard and dry. Not to be confused with crunchy. The quesadilla was extremely salty. And literally consisted of just chicken and cheese. The only food I enjoyed were the fries with blue cheese. Which says a lot. Food is very mediocre. I would return just to have drinks and hang out, but wouldn't waste my money again on the food.

This place is like Cheers. It's great for regulars. Not as welcoming for newcomers. I had to figure out how to be served when I walked in with my wife. I was not greeted. I sat myself and had to walk up to someone to get us service. Something must be right though, because it was busy.
Great bar to watch football on Sundays!!! Staff is friendly food is great and the beers are always cold!!! Even the backyard is a great place to ha.g out at

Dive bar... the drinks were overpriced for Long Island. Food was indicative of a dive bar. Wings were overcooked and the fried shrimp had a smell/taste as if spoiled milk was used in the batter. Nice patio space tho!
