My wife and I were blown away by chef Danny. 8 or 9 courses of home cooked Italian food. And when I say home cooked, I mean literally cooked at home. The food is fresh, local ingredients and plentiful. Danny's story is touching and he's a kind soul. It's hard to leave without feeling bonded to the space.The food is not your normal Italian fair. Its the food you'll find on your table if you were a farm worker in Italy.No menu, no drinks. It's 100% chefs choice.Loved the mussels, salads, greens and sausage and eggplant. Oh and garlic bread.

Danny is an awesome host and his food is made with love.. everything was delicious. The atmosphere is like having dinner at home.
We had an awesome time here for my birthday. A generously portioned 8 course traditional Italian meal will have you stuffed and with plenty of delicious leftovers to take home and enjoy another meal. The owner, Dan, was our host, the excellent chef, as well as our server, and all with a fun sarcastic sense of humor. We were informed ahead of time to bring our own drinks which was odd but good advice. Reservations are required and at least a couple weeks in advance is recommended. You'll enjoy it more if you are Right minded....crazy libs should probably pass. Don't worry about the spartan ambiance as the amazing quality and quantity of food will leave you more than satisfied. You also can't beat the price for all that you get. This is truly a gem that we'll be sure to come back for.

Make reservations..Definitely worth going. The hospitality by Dan is fantastic. Makes you feel at home with a freshly made meal.
We were traveling from Indiana to Block Island, RI. Our hotel was right next door to Trattoria Calabria. Boy did we luck out when we decided to eat here. We split the Trattoria salad (huge and delicious) and the lasagna. Yum!! Our server was excellent and the owner stopped by our table to check in on us. We asked if he was the owner and he said, "No I'm the dishwasher!" Like all good owner/operators I'm sure he is willing to do whatever success demands. Clearly this is a first class restaurant. So glad we visited. Thanks for a delicious meal!!
Went there for the 1st time we had heard great things about It... We weren't disappointed fun With delicious food that just kept coming course after course...I loved the fact That we didn't know what was coming next....Danny is great.... Highly recommend this place we will go back Definitely..... Bring a Huge appetite you will be stuffed stuffed but you can bring leftovers home....
Visited this place a week ago and had a delicious meal prepared by Danny, and brought out one course at a time, served family style. You BYOB here, which I like, cuz the sober you will only bring 1 ot 2, lol. No chance of getting carried away! The food was delicious, and the time between courses gives plenty of time to relax and chat with friends, and also with Danny. Get there @ 6 with an empty tummy, and have about a half hour for your cocktails. With all the food, the conversation and the laughs, plan around 2 hours. And bring home the leftovers! We already have a reservation (required) made for September :) When it's that good, and fun... you go back!!
