Was excited to come here for my birthday dinner. Heard good things! First the good. Greeted and seated when walking in very friendly and professional. The waitress service was friendly, and excellent. NOW THE BAD. we ordered 5 dishes. All the dishes while fresh lacked salt. Each dish only had one flavor pallet making them very simple and uninspiring. while sharing plates is very chic and the modern thing to do (we have done this many times) we were told that the dishes were small plates but bigger than tapas . This was not the case. It was not enough food for the money. All in all a very disappointing experience.
Great food! The flavors were fantastic, and the meal was elegantly prepared and presented. Everything was delicious, but especially the radish pastrami and the potatoes.
$200. On a snack for two!Service was very very nice, though the food was billed as small plates and we would say actually tiny plates. Every thing lacked salt, and any kind of sauce. New and kitchie is fun but com on, if you promise quality i don't care how many small dishes we need to order... its fun having a variety of experiences but deliver on the flavor! Too bad it was a bust for my husband's birthday dinner!I will add that it took almost 20 minutes for my cocktail ?

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our waiter was upfront about the small plates. Everything we ate was excellent, and I'd recommend the white chocolate panna cotta for dessert.
Me and my husband have been here 3 times. Each time is amazing. We’re starting to go once a month. Jarred the dining room manager is exceptional each time and remembered us! He helped us pick out a wine and is very knowledgeable. We had tim as a waiter the last 2 times and he has been awesome as well! Always amazing food and ambiance. Food is fairly priced for the quality. Definitely my favorite restaurant in the area! Can’t go wrong coming here!
Fantastic meal for our first time at Tailor and the Cook. Exceptional vegan options. Will be back early and often!
Very lovely. Went with two young men who liked the food. Hard to fill them up though with the tiny portions.
