I ordered 9 large tomato pies for my son's graduation.. I ordered them in advance and I paid for them in advance.. We picked them Up on the day of the graduation they were amazing.. Thank you so much for making my son's graduation a special day.. Best tomato pies ever in my opinion..

The best tomato pie period. Cooked perfectly on the bottom and a tremendous sauce finished with salty grated cheese. A very simple tomato pie that relies on good ingredients and tradition for its flavor not overly seasoned like their main competition. They also have the best cold cuts their salami is the bomb and they cut it thin so it melts on the tongue. Very good rolls never disappointed with the sausage roll great fresh bread to take your sandwich to the next level or to eat by itself. The only issue I have with this place is stopping myself from eating it I’m surprised the staff doesn’t all weigh 400pounds because it’s that good. So over all not my cardiologists favorite choice but definitely my mouths favorite
I have been coming to this bakery for 62 years i used to come with my grandparents when i was a little girl every Sunday after church. I make all of the same recipes as my grandparents and in order for the recipes to taste the same i need to buy the same ingredients i have moved out of the area many years ago, my parents used to have cheese and bread shipped to California for 10 years until we came back to the east coast. I now live close to Boston and i have been all over the North End ( the Italian section) and i can't find the same Pecorino Romano cheese so i make the trip to Utica at least twice a year to get cheese and bread as there is no other place like Napoli's. My travel is 5 hours one way but it is so worth it. Their tomato pie is the best as i get that also. i have tried other places in Utica for cheese, bread and tomato pie but they can't compare to Napoli's. Thank you Napoli's for allowing me the carry on the tradition of my heritage and recipes my children also come to Napoli's for their ingredients so the tradition lives on in my children and grandchildren.

Napoli's is a great place to work, if you like earning below minimum wage for slave labor and being threatened when you report them to the labor department that is! They violate state and federal laws and have been reported to the IRS and NYS labor department. Potential employees beware DO NOT SET YOURSELF UP FOR FAILURE WORKING FOR THIS UNPROFESSIONAL CLOWN!
Get the tomato pie! The round rolls are really good too.
There are other good tomato pies, but Napoli’s stands out: the sauce tastes like tomatoes, not overly sweet. The dough holds up, without being too thick or soggy.The other products are also very tasty—try the desserts and pastas too—and the staff is always nice to deal with. CNY-quality Italian food isn’t easy to find once you move out of the area, Utica bro’s, so never take it for granted!
