It is always a treat to be able to go and have coffee and a snack at our favorite coffee bar Joseph Putrello’s. Everything I have ever had there is amazing. The coffee is beyond compare. I recommend it to any coffee lover.
Absolutely stunning coffee bar. The ambiance hits so nicely. Clean, bright, white, with the perfect aesthetic of plants and marble accents. Now about th espresso! Some of the best I've ever had! The double cappuccino was everything I've always been looking for in terms of espresso to foamed milk ratio! The baristas we're very friendly and the menu of specialty coffees and their presentation is perfect for any and all coffee afficianado.
Joe and I used to work together and this man is the real deal. Taught me how to make my first espresso and he ain’t playin people! Anyways, this place is 10/10. The atmosphere obviously. But today I had the best cappuccino of my young life and the prosciutto crossaint cheesy whatever thing made my head explode. Stop complaining about the prices. You pay for a BMW you get a BMW. And this whole thing was a brand spanking new 3 series.
I don’t think I have ever written a review on anything in my entire life, but for this place was so good I had to. My first time in Utica, I was just looking for a decent coffee to kill some time….we ended up having the best coffee experience of our life. Price was the same as my everyday Starbucks order, but the taste, quality, and service was impeccable. Perfectly executed by staff who were so friendly and attentive, I am so sad I live two hours away from this place because now no other coffee will ever compare to Joseph Putrellos and I will never be satisfied with my Starbucks again? A must try for anyone passing through the area!!
I wish I could give it more stars, from the kind cheerful baristas that provided great customer service to the scrumptious in house treats and delicious espresso…. BRAVO!
Great experience. My coffee was perfect, and I got the Mortadella Panini sandwich and it was the great. Joseph came over, and we talked for a bit. I highly recommend it there.
Buongiorno! What an incredible coffee house /barista bar! The staff is so talented and friendly! Presentation is everything, the coffee creations are beautiful and delicious! What a wonderful find, so glad it is here in Utica! I can't wait to visit again and work my way through the menu! Highly recommend!
