This Pizzeria used to be the 'GOTO' for Dinner and now it's the place to stay away from after switching hands with new Management that wants todo it his way rather than the way the customers for years like myself have gone to for nights when you don't want to cook Dinner! Customer Service is somewhat polite over the phone but in person you are seated and orders are taken almost immediately. Pizza, Calzones and Subs aren't made the way they once were made which was better because you had more of a filler. Until they find a new course I'll probably invest more money there but for now Franco's (Whitesboro) & Tony's (Burrstone Rd, South Utica) is the togo for Dinner for me.
The food here is really good, albeit a little on the expensive side for a pizza joint. For example, my wife and I ate here for lunch recently and two sandwiches, two orders of fries, and a 20 oz soda cost us nearly $40. Granted, there was more than enough food for each of us, and we had leftovers enough for another lunch the next day at home, so really it was four meals for $40, but at the time it was a bit of a shock. Food quality and taste were very good though. Excellent fries.
We got the Charlies box when we were visiting family and it was perfect! We got the riggies, chicken parm, garlic knots, salad, and 2 pizzas and everybody was happy. We would definitely order that again. We had 7 adults and 5 kids eating this amount of food and we had leftovers.
Best pizza in town if you like thin pizza that is. My first choice
I order here quite often and recently have experienced..food over cooked and not prepared correctly like!!!! Steak over cooked and dry and not putting what I ordered in the sandwich. Then I call and complain so they say call back when your ready to order again and they'll take care of it. So I call and get Nothing but attitude like a was lying about my past order. So I'm like ok w.e can I order a large steak sub with peppers and onions with French fries. Well the got the sandwich right but ner put in for the fries So I only got half of what I ordered and Nothing but attitude SMH!! So hence the review ? peter Aiken
Not worth the price and not all that great tasting. Very sloppy . asked for my food one way ....!!!! Got it another , they jacked all the prices for pig slop

Love being told 25 minutes for pizza , and you get there in 25 and it's cold and overcooked, love it!!!Dough is pretty tasteless, Always too much cheese at all the Charlie's.
Just ordered a tomato bowl salad and the bill came to $19.56 are they out of there minds I will NEVER go back again !!! When I asked why it was so much they said market price ! So now that is the née excuse for over changing the public !!! Never again Charlie
Best Utica greens in the area.The pizza is the best that I have tried in the North Utica area.The staff is super friendly and has given me extra slices of pizza on multiple occasions.
