Nice quaint little coffee shop. Atmosphere was up beat. The barista was wonderful with an amazing smile and a personality to match! 10 stars if I could.
I'm not a huge coffee person but like a nice place to hangout and feel welcomed. Character Coffee is by far the best place to do that in Utica! If you feel like being social, you can sit at the counter and talk to a bunch of interesting patrons and friendly baristas. I especially like it because an iced latte and conversation is much cheaper than therapy lol! If you feel like being lame, you can sit at one of the cozy little nooks or on the comfy couch too I guess. And they are dog friendly, so you can bring in your canine friend to try to help you pick up one of the countless beautiful women if your own personal charm is lacking.
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll never get a Dunkin Coffee ever again!!! I'm just upset that I'm just now finding out about this location!!!! It's super cute inside. I wish I had the time to sit and enjoy it before work but I'm always last minute. But when I say the customer service is top tier!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honey it is A1...Like my heart gets warmer when I walk in and get spoken to so politely. And even for the few minutes I am in there I swear I don't even feel like I'm in Utica anymore. I hate that I don't know the young lady's name that serves me but at this rate I'm sure we will get to know each other. She is the absolute sweetest. You guys have to have their coffee. It's so rich and tasty!!!!!!! They make Dunkin and Starbucks look terrible. I honestly can go on and on about this shop here....and I've only had their coffee 3 times!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's to another 3 million more lol I pray you guys expand so that everyone can have this same experience I have.
They serve really really exquisite coffee! One can actually taste the hints of floral notes.

While I happen frequent this establishment, I see a lot of newcomers who seem a bit timid at first but always leave with smiles on their faces. It never feels like I am having polite small-talk with the baristas or other customers- it is always a genuine conversation.Everyone is truly welcome here.
The coffee is amazing! Great options for teas. The staff are always so sweet and personable. I love coming here to relax with a cup of coffee.
Their latte tasted like warm tomato juice. 1/10 do not recommend. Homemade coffee is cheaper. Heck, even Starbucks is cheaper.

Excellent coffee. Espresso extracted perfectly and flavors were perfect for the maple latte. The yeast donut was a maple frosted headlight which was soft, fresh and great flavor. Highly recommend both!
