Great food Great servers Great ambiance Showtime was great, as usual
MIXED REVIEW: We were seated quickly but waited almost 5 minutes to be greeted and drink order taken. Had to ask for salt and pepper for the salad. Lasagna was good and a good portion but should have been served with garlic bread or a bread stick. Asked for parmesan cheese when lasagna was presented. The waitress came back to ask how everything tasted and had to ask for it again. I had the Reuben and it was amazing! The fries however were luke warm and soggy and rubbery. I had to ask for a to-go box 3 times. Service in general was slow and there were only a few customers other than the bar.
amazing food and great music
The highlight of this place is sitting outside and enjoying the seating and playing corn hole. The inside would also be a good place to watch a game but has limited seating near the bar.The food was so so and the service was hit or miss. Wouldn't be a top recommendation when visiting Utica, but there are worse places for sure. The did offer a nice cocktail menu and I noticed for brunch they do mimosa or bloody mary flights.
We had a blast! Food - really tasty. We had a Benedict, bangin cauliflower, French onion soup, salad, and tortellini. The bangin cauliflower was the star! Drinks- bottomless mimosas was only $11, and cocktails outside(whisky smash and frose) was super refreshing. Service- thank you to all the staff that helped us. Hailey the host, Verona and Laura our servers, Nicole the manager. Y’all rally mad our experience special. Super attentive, friendly, and professional. Vibe- inside it had a diner feel and outside had a really nice space. There was live music and a lovely patio setup with cornhole.
I love a good buffalo wing. I've actually been to the restaurant that the buffalo wing originated. Theses were delicious to say the least. It was crowded but when the food is this good it should be. Keep up the good work.
The waitress was great! She sat me at a table on the patio where I asked. The food on the other hand, not so great. I ordered during Oktoberfest and my bratwurst came with a mound of that yellow melted cheese, even after I asked for a dairy free plate and granted, cheese was never listed as a part of the brat (and just for the record German Chocolate cake is not German as listed on the Oktoberfest menu, as the cake was named after the American who developed it---his last name was German).Additionally, the mixed drinks were great concepts, but they were too lite on the liquor. I thought that it was me, at first, but I literally heard the group at the table parallel with my table also mention how weak the mixed drinks were.Lots of groups enjoy meeting there, so it's great to meet friends, but the food and mixed drinks could use some improvements.
I went for Easter with my family. The food was out of this world. We started out with the appetizer sampler platter....amazing. The cauliflower was in a spicy cream sauce that was rich and flavorful with a medium heat.. I can't say enough about their tomato sauce, its thick and just full of so many great levels of flavor. My whole family enjoyed their meals. Desert was some of the best I ever had. Their canoli was twice as big as any I ever had and overstuffed with a sweet delicious filling. I had the lemon blueberry marscapone cake....its now my favorite dessert ever. Pricing.....unbelievable!! I can't believe how cheap it was for all the delicious food we ate!! We love Babes and can't wait to treat ourselves again. 10 out of 10 stars from my family!!
Very good food. Me and my family aren't from around here and want to go to a local place for lunch. It was the first thing that someone recommended when we asked for good local food. Their brick oven pizza and pretzel is amazing. The wait staff were really nice too. Definitely coming back again if in the area.
Always one of my go to's when in Utica. Great environment and great food.
