Actual food, with whole products, no "replacement" meat substitutes. Just deliciously prepared, all natural food. Can't recommend this place enough! You won't regret it! Delicious! I've tried their beer mac, carrot dog, faux hawk, mushroom bahn mi, and the smoked mushroom french dip. every one was out of this world!
Yooooo attention Capital Region, look no further, the best new vegan eats can be found in Troy!! Seriously, I can't get over the "Faux Hawk" sandwich. It is a breath of fresh air away from all the other "alternatives", because they actually use real vegetables. I can't stress it enough, it's fiiireeee ???
I have to admit that, as a lover of the iconic corn dog (would eat dozens a month for a phase in my early 20's), I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering the Carrot Corn Dog. But I've been wanting to try Little Viking Co. and, for the really reasonable price, it was worth a shot. Let me tell you this: for starters it came out exactly as it was shown on their Instagram post! So it looked stunning from the get-go! The taste... WOW! The batter was incredible, and I soon realized that the batter was probably the thing that is most iconic about the flavor of a traditional corn dog because I didn't miss the hot dog AT ALL! The carrot was the perfect consistency and flavored in what I would call a light smoked flavor - the way a delicious hot dog would be! Great job Matt! Can't wait to get another!
Best place for vegan or vegetarian food! Always the best at Little Viking Co! I love the mushroom banh mi and the beer mac. All my 518 people need to eat here! It's great for all! Chef Matt rules!
Little Viking Co is IT for indulgent, delicious vegan + plant-based food in Troy, NY. The prices are great, they offer delivery across multiple platforms, and I seriously dream about the beer mac + Faux Hawk sandwich on the regular.
