Food was... Awful. Awful. We ordered 1 order of short rib tacos, it took 20+ minutes to get our food and when it finally did come it was definitely not worth the wait. The tacos were all dry tortilla, no filling. The short rib tasted like they boiled it. It was dry and had no flavor, no sauce, nothing just dry chewy short rib meat. The menu said "pickled onions" came on the tacos... There was literally 2 tiny slices of onion on each taco. No sauce, no other toppings. Dry corn tortillas + dry short rib + two tiny pieces of onion, 4 tiny tacos... $14. Not worth it. Not sure what the other food is like but I would not come back to try it.

Authentic Mexican food, I was pleasently surprised to find this jewel of restaurant, the dishes are so delicious, full of original flavor from my mother land.. I am thankful that the owners didn't chance the flavor to please every one..my family and I highly recommend it, and the people there are friendly and polite..
This taco libre restaurant is a nice little nook in Troy. I always get the birria tacos which is pretty good. It's the closet thing to birria Lynda. They have burritos, quesadilla, tacos, soda, tres leches etc. It's a nice spot to grab a quick bite to eat. The staff there is pretty nice too, they're very understanding. They're also quick with cooking your food. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone around the area. Enjoy!
Stopped in tonight to grab burgers from Prime Burger and after we ordered I went over to Taco Libre to get a to-go order of birria tacos. Unfortunately, they were sold out for the day so I was just going to stop by another day. But after going back over to Prime Burger, a woman from Taco Libre came over and told us she still had had enough to make a couple of birria tacos free of charge. I ended up with 3 of the best tacos I've ever had. . What great food and AMAZING customer service. We left a nice tip for their generosity. I cant recommend them enough....
