Great place to have a bite. We were looking for a place to crash while at Troy Farmer's Market and ended up with a lovely meal with pink lemonade and slider samplers. I recommend the Southern Jam slider with pimento cheese and BACON JAM. The shrimp taco was also fantastic. Extra points to this fun restaurant for having abundant gluten-free options for my celiac pal.
Fun joint with a good beer list. Lots of cool slider options. Cuban was very good as was short rib. Try the waffle fries too. Had a good time.
Absolutely beyond angry at this place. Placed an order it two tacos each for my wife and I at 1pm today. It's now almost half an hour wait and it's not busy at all . No phones ringing only two tables in the while place. Not to mention the server/bartender or whatever you want to call her was extremely rude and never went into the back once to check on our order while she leaned against the bar doing nothing. Will never come here again absolutely disgusted at this point
Food is great but service is meh. Felt semi unwelcome? Also the bar stools are not super comfortable? They're too short for the height of the bar which didn't make me want to hang around. Overall though, the food is super tasty! The burger with pimento cheese ball was superb.
Nice chill spot to have a few drinks and a bite to eat while socializing. I had the burger with eggs. It was very delicious. Staff was friendly. It is not like a sports bar so don't expect a lot of tvs with games playing which I thought at first. It was still very nice. Bathroom was clean, parking may be a little tough depending on the time you go, but the area is a good place to walk around.
Very good food and service. The quality of the food of this restaurant has been ever increasing since I’ve been going here for over a year. It is now one of my favorite places in the area, not only for the food. The beer selection and fast casual atmosphere are amazing, as well as the music. The staff is very fun and friendly and they never seem to fail to be open. Definitely one of the better establishments in Troy. You will not be disappointed.
Avoid this place like the plague. We ordered and then waited over 30 minutes before leaving. Gave us the excuse "kitchen got slammed all at once", really? Then either don't seat people you can't accommodate or communicate to the patrons your kitchen issues. We left because the couple sitting to our left had been seated 15 min before us and they were still waiting for food. Just so you know communicated to the manager on their website, it was clear from his response he couldn't have cared less. Do yourself a favor, AVOID THIS PLACE!
So we went Sat. the 30th. Arrived and was seated by the kitchen, no big deal except every time they evidently opened the back door there was a blast of cold air. Okay it happens. Placed our order, Fried Avocado a drink for my wife (Punch You in the Eye, or something like that, very good btw) and water for me. I'm driving. Ordered sliders too. Drinks and app. came out in about 10 min. Talking and listening to music...10 min. go by, 20 min. go by, the table to my left asked the waiter, " so what's happening with our food"?, he's response is "the kitchen got slammed all at once". Turns out they were there 15 min before us and they were waiting. Turns out next table over had been waiting even longer. My wife asked for the check and we left. Wrote on the website my dissatisfaction. Got the most inane response from the owner. CLEARLY customer service isn't his priority. No effort to take responsibility and as I see from other reviews this is NOT an isolated occurrence. Do yourself a favor, go to Dinosaur BBQ.
After going here two weeks in a row I can say I will keep coming back !!! The slider variety is amazing and they are sooooo delicious !!!!
This place gets 25 stars...The service was phenomenal, only two front of the house including the bartender. But they were exceptional. The flavors were just unbelievable. "The dirty little dipper" slider was so juicy with a side short rib au ju. Most unique place I have been to in months.
