The value for the money is not right.I'm always still hungry. A drum and a thigh don't fill me upI can't spend $15 for lunch to be full.People working are always nice though.
Their chicken is great but the size of the chicken pieces like the drumstick and the wing are smaller now, yet the prices went up. They also needed to change the oil out of the fryer, and their receipt machine wasn't working. The sides were on point though.
The food is always great when they can get your order right. I've been inside and to the drive thru. They always mess up simple orders. One time I got spicy chicken when I ordered mild and my kids couldn't eat it. Another time I repeated myself twice with the side orders I wanted at the window and they still gave me the wrong sides.
This Popeyes is always an experience. From having multiple cars parked and waiting for food in their exceedingly limited drive through space, to missing food from orders, to having the absolutely worst engineered drive through in the Capital District. There's always something. The staff rotates pretty regularly from what I have seen, and considering the layout and placement of the location I do not blame them one bit. But the food itself is ALWAYS great (assuming you get everything you order). I would blame my 3☆ review on whoever designed the location itself far more than I would on the staff itself.

As always, awesome chicken & red beans ? but long wait to even order; they wouldn’t open a 2nd cash register; multiple dine-in customers complained, but management didn’t seem to care (27 May 2022)
Working with my buddy who hurt his back, I became the leg man in the delivery of various types of food for him doing GrubHub. The staff has always been quick and each is suited for their daily tasks. They are cordial, clean, and efficient. I think that they hired the right crew and manager to handle the large amount of business done in the drive-thru and dining room daily and have nothing but nice things to say about this particular establishment.
Weather it's them or who delivers for them....on multiple occasions we never get the full order. I would think the company that prepared the order is at fault. I usually don't complain, go without my dinner and get the refund for the missing item. I guess I hit my limit of compromise. Especially when my compromise is always a missing dinner or two. You have one job guys! ONE JOB. If you can't get it right and don't care to get it right just stay home. Maybe the next guy out there who wants the job will.
I liked their food but when you order spicy chicken expect to get half and half because they sneak the regular in when they run out and put it off as if it’s hot. 05/09/2022 Just ordered chicken from Popeyes and will never again. Look at this macaroni and cheese I got. I ordered 2 and both were horrifying. I wanted to upchuck. Look at these pictures. You can tell they sat all day. This is top and bottom of the large which wasn’t only 3/4 full
