Definitely our favorite place to get tacos. We usually get take out but every once in a while we sit and eat in their cute little outdoor space. The tacos are always delicious. We've tried a buck of different varieties and haven't been disappointed yet. (my favorite are the fish and shrimp tacos.) The chips and guacamole are very good too. There is a small parking lot and you can usually easily find some street parking too. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Stopped here as we needed gluten free food during our visit and found this gem. Great tasting tacos. We got the corn tacos so that we got the gluten free version. The tacos were loaded. They were loaded so much that the fillings were falling out….in a good way though. You would want that much filling as it makes the tacos extra special and also adds to the amazing taste! Totally worth it!
I absolutely love this place. One of my favorite things is that they’re generous with the meat portion. I’ve been there 4x and they have not disappointed. The flavor of the food is so good! I have tried other tacos and “Mexican” food, but they don’t compare to La Capital. They’re friendly and food comes out very fast. Nice place to have a quick lunch and enjoy with a nice atmosphere. Love their setting outside. Feels so relaxing and is well kept. From one latina cook that loves a good flavor in the food, my compliments to all the cooks.
Two of us got taco bowls today for lunch. They are really delicious! There’s lots of protein, which makes them worth the price.
The only Birria Tacos worth my time in upstate NY. I’m sure their other menu items are great but it will be hard to try anything other than those Birria Tacos!

La Capital Taco newer restaurant to Troy, NY in the capital land taxi [Previously] quick response from the kitchen. Best ate HOT! Okay heated up in an air fryer. Great service! Busy but so worth the wait! Follow the chronicles....
I ordered three with the works one El pastor one carnitas and one chorizo, I just wished they'd put 2 tortillas on them to hold them together
