I’ve been a repeat customer of I Love for many years. My 4 year old and I like to take walks downtown and stop for pizza. I had my second baby a few months ago who doesn’t sleep for anything so I found myself taking my kids out for a walk and pizza late at night. My mistake. We sat in I Love around 11 o’clock because my oldest wanted to eat at the table for a bit. A few women came in, seemed drunk but who knows, and 2 of them began arguing and threatening to beat each other up. A third woman was breaking them up. I commented that they shouldn’t be behaving as such especially with children present and was packing my things up to leave. The third woman ended up throwing her food at me and assaulting me. Workers of the restaurant just stood there the entire time. The whole situation could have been avoided had they asked them to leave when they began yelling at each other. After the woman put her hands on me, her friends were persuading her to leave so my children’s father asked the workers to lock the door until they left or the cops arrived and they replied “no, this happens all the time” maybe if they did more, it wouldn’t happen so often. I definitely will never spend another penny with this business, they truly do not care about their customers. My baby’s stroller was a couple of feet from this nonsense and my toddler sadly saw everything. The woman won’t get an assault charge because she didn’t leave a mark. What a joke this city is smh
My daughter was assaulted in this restaurant tonight in front of her 2 children a 4 year old and a 6 month old. The staff stood there and watched, then refused to shut the door to keep the the people assaulting her outside. Will never ever ever step foot in this restaurant again. You are not safe from random strangers assaulting you at the establishment.
Best pizza hands down.I drive 25 minutes and fight 4th street traffic to get there.Must try if you haven't.Cash only though !!
Yummy crust and classically delicious! They offer a variety of slices to please almost everyone. Weirdly the also offer beef Pattie’s that look worth trying.
Delicious cheese pizza!$2.50 a slice
This used to be my go-to place until I moved out of the area. Came in today to get me a quick bite and the short Hispanic worker who I know has been there for years was clearly having a bad day, throwing things around, grabbing slices of pizza with his hands and cussing at other workers. When it came time to order he shouted “someone take his order, I don’t know what he wants!” right before I walked out. Unfortunately, I Love Pizza of Troy will never get my business again.
one of my friends pmo to this place, have been getting my pizza from here ever since, there chicken marsala pizza is to die for. clean welcoming atmosphere as well, i have never had a problem here and plan on being a remaining customer for more years to come!!
My chicken wings were hard after I told them not to cook them hard, the pizza was cooked the way it was supposed to be. The crust wasn't crunchy and I asked for extra cheese. My pie wasn't cheesy.
After a night out with some friends we stopped at Troy's I Love New York Pizza.I got the deep dish seafood and spinach pizza and my hubby got the Philadelphia steak cheese pizza both of them were delicious.
Best pizza in the 518. I wish they'd open up more locations.
