Okay so I took the reviews about the vegan options here seriously, and I'm so glad that I did!The Vegan Supreme Pizza is incredible and I'm ready to try more of their menu! I also took advice to get the Lemon Ricotta Gennettes, and it is honestly legit - and trust me when I say that I KNOW these cookies.. I'm happy to say that I finally found a pizza place, especially after hearing about what's to come for the summer!
I ate there for the first time, and I definitely will be coming back. This is by far the best pizza in the capital region. You definitely can tell they take pride in their food and it shows. Very friendly.
Defazios has gone downhill in the pizza quality since they opened a second store. I don't know what happened, but the last 3-4 pizzas I've ordered have been way, way too heavy on the cheese and not like the Defazios I know and love at all! It pains me to see them do the same thing that every other pizza place in the area does and sell pizza that has so much cheese on it that it's basically just white with tiny spots of red. If you're a pizza lover like I am, you will agree that a Pizza with so much cheese that it's primarily white (instead of a healthy, diverse white/red mix, like the surface of mars) is borderline Not Pizza, but hopefully they turn things around before they start selling Not Pizza instead of pizza.
Got one of the vegan pies for Pi die. It was fantastic. What I appreciated more than the fact they have vegan options, is the fact that I walked in to see them making the pasta noodles right there! They make their own freakin pasta!!! Love it! That’s respect for the food and love for the craft! Slow food is always better food. The way it should be!
We ended up eating there. Everyone was so friendly and accomodating. The pastas are incredible amd the pizza was great too. Def will be back.?
Finally tried this legendary pizza spot and I must say I was disappointed. Did the whole order your pizza a day before thing as everyone suggested because they are so busy from being so good and all. Unfortunately my order must of been ready way earlier than I was supposed to pick it up. The pizza was so soggy it was like it came out of the microwave or something. Really? Not impressed.It was okay after throwing it in the oven but wasn't worth the hypeMaybe if I could of had a fresh one that day life would of been good?Just saying.
Great pizza. Scored a low 9 on the app. Busy place. Let the pie cool a bit. It gets better.
Visited for the first time in many years on 1/4. The service was outstanding. The gentleman at the front counter is beyond professional, helpful, courteous and friendly!! The pizza was great as many people have told us!Thank you so much, we had a great experience!! We will be back soon!
The sauce and dough are no joke! Catering available. Super cozy 2 table dine in area. Dude in the corner was making fresh pasta..... guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful... and everyone seems to be working together happily with respect. I feel like I just made a group of friends lol. ????
This is excellent pizza. I highly recommend if you are passing through the area as we were recently. If you are local to the area, I assume you already know it and love it based on watching dozens and dozens of people walk in and and order pizzas in the 45 minutes I spent there eating.They were incredibly kind and accommodating, the service was fantastic, the pizza was the best I’ve had upstate. I’ll be coming back on my next road trip.
