Best draft beers (miller lite) also… the bar manager Rachel was amazing!!! She provided the best services. She made the experience memorable

Nice spot, needs some help.Perfect for a "bar rescue"- a once busy and popular spot is showing its age. Tired food, tired infrastructure, lackluster experience. We visited on a Friday night around 7:00pm, some folks seated at the bar but the dining room was empty. Prompt and friendly service were very welcome, but the food did not back them up. (We ordered two beef on weck, one with fries) When I asked the waitress about the quality of fries she said they were hand cut, but "not the crispiest". She surely was not wrong, however the fries were not to blame. I would say they needed another 5-7 minutes of cooking, or a hotter oil- but in either case we were presented with a very limp, sad fry. The beef on wecks tasted fine; not the warmest by any means but did have a nice taste. I think the texture would be improved if the meat was cut fresh to order, and not pre-cut and waiting in a hot tray holding container. Not a bad experience by any means, but I would have no reason to come back.

Always great roast beef on weck. The onion rings were excellent. The French Fries were a little undercooked. Service was good. The outdoor seating area does attract some boaters that may have been in the sun to long and their language may be a little salty.

Don't let the old sign and outside decor deter you from trying this place. Definitely gives off local watering hole vibes inside. They have a limited menu but it is one of the better Beef on Wecks I've had since living in Buffalo. Add their hand cut fries or onion rings to your meal and you'll be sure to walk away stuffed and satisfied.

Pull up on our boat, tied up. Hubby went up and ordered all the food, we ate on the boat, knowing they knew we were there. I walked up to use the bathrm. They had locked the door. Didn't ever come ask if we needed anything. 4 dinners, no napkins, or horse radish, for RB Sammies. The menu said canal fest chicken souvlaki. It was not. We weren't happy.

Great old pub. Great seating right on the canal.

Ordered to go yesterday beef was dry. Extra Aujus would have come in handy that I ordered. If they included it with orderThey remembered to give mycheck on a little plastic tray hinting at gratuity. Tacky. Worry about getting the order correct swistons

Not African American friendly- My very first visit I was called the n-word multiple times across the bar in front of multiple staff by another patron and nothing was done so I simply left and have refused to return. It is the responsibility of the staff and establishment to ensure safety and comfortability of its visitors and as a new resident of Tonawanda it was extremely disheartening.

Food was good.. french fries weren't as hot as they could have been.. service was good

friendly atmosphere. not expensive.
