Horrible!! We were last ones through drive through purchased $27 worth of food and received maybe $8 worth plus our receipt wasn't in bag. Fries were COLD, no straws, and food was not what we ordered but probably what they had laying around at the end of the night.
Wendy’s on James Street in Syracuse. Number one they haven’t open the dining room in ages. There’s sometimes you just want to sit down and eat. Number two. You sit in the drive-through for 35 minutes? Are they cooking each order as they go? And the person at the window doesn’t seem to have a clue. I’m usually kind in my reviews. But I think that’s the last time I’ll be visiting here.
This place is THE WORST if you’re in any type of hurry. Wendy’s are notoriously slow anyway, but this one is by far the slowest on the planet. You’re better off driving 15 minutes to the next closest Wendy’s…you’ll have your food faster than waiting here. Going on 33 minutes in the drive thru and there are still 2 cars ahead of me. 8 cars in line when I pulled up.
Drive through line was so long it went out the parking lot onto the main road. So I went inside to just pick up a Frosty which I had been looking forward to all week. Numerous workers were running around seemingly not knowing what to do. It was very unorganized. After a 15 minute wait got my Frosty went into car and ... it was like soup. Very disappointing. A waist of $3.45 and especially my time.
Sat I’m the drive through at the mic/menu for over 10 mins. Watched many customers leave from behind us. Then when they came on to get our order they were swearing and rude to us. And with gas prices today it was a waste. I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back here (at least to this Wendy’s) again.we finally got to the window at 10:30.SMH This Wendy’s needs all new employees and needs help big time. I wish I could have done negative 10 stars
This place took for ever to service me. There was a new lady there and no one wanted to help her.I felt so bad for her then after 7 minutes I got helped. Then they messed my child's food up when I went to get it corrected waited 5 minutes and it was still wrong. I notified the manager and they seem like drive thru was more important then the people in the dining room.
The last 3 to 4 times I've gotten food everything is literally cold. Doesn't matter if I am in no line or a huge line. Nor does it seem to matter the time of day. I can't remember the last time my food actually was warm and definitely not hot. Really disappointing since I actually like grabbing food from them. But it really is not worth it. I just have to stop going to the James St one.
The food was fine but service was terrible! Messed up my order and was missing one whole meal from my group. Manager took my receipt so I'm not sure I even paid for it but I couldn't tell you. The dining area and bathrooms were far from clean. The soda machine in the restaurant was broken.
I’ve come here randomly throughout the past 6 years of me living in Syracuse and this specific location never fails to take their sweet time with the drive thru. Yes, it’s busy. Yes, it’s rush hour. Yes, it is lunch time. However this is a “fast” food establishment lol. We are not ordering gourmet dishes. I got on this drive thru line at 1:30 and it is currently 1:42 and I still have not ordered. Go figure.
I spend like $30 for 2 people every time I come and this time I ordered the big cheddar burger for me, they ask how many patties I want so I say one. 3 bites in I realized they gave me a chicken patty???? With bacon and bbq and cheese I don't get it
