Great food great service!
Great food. Great service
Came for Happy Hour. Fantastic value for the ambiance and presentation.
Arrived to an almost empty restaurant (bar was full). Hostess had us sit and wait for 10-15 minutes... not sure why. We ordered 2 dozen oysters which tasted fresh and delicious (buck a shuck for the win!).Our server wasn't great or terrible... friendly, but not very attentive considering the light customer presence.I ordered the filet, which tasted good and was cooked (on the inside) to the proper temperature. Unfortunately the outside was quite leathery on one side. Not inedible, just not what I'd expect from a beef dish hiding behind "market price"The highlight of our meal was our sons hamburger, which might have been the best tasting burger I've ever had! We'll definitely be back!
I was surprised to learn that several good restaurants in downtown Syracuse area are closed on Sunday nights. Since the Hotel I was saying that did not have a dinner option. I was very happy to find the York was open. Very nice to core extremely upscale considering the rest of Syracuse! Highly recommend. Good service good food but if you get a wedge salad you might want to consider asking them to put the dressing on the side. It was a pretty heavy Addition
Best place in town for Oyster's for sure. Knowledgeable bartenders who can make a proper cocktail with care and attention. Large food portions, especially the Riggies, its like a family size serving. Slightly overpriced for what it is, but overall a great upscale option downtown.
Everyone I talked to said I would really enjoy this place but it wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. Atmosphere is great and the drinks were good, but the food looked better than it tasted. I never thought I would say something had too much garlic, but the linguine and clams did and the sauce was too thick. Caesar salad was extremely fishy. Server was blah…wouldn’t split our check up by person…said their POS system doesn’t allow it and there was a CC processing fee on a $300 bill. Complementary pickles was a plus for me though…if I go back it would just be for drinks.
Went here with a group of friends to order drinks. Waitress forgot one of the drinks and was extremely hard to flag down. We asked 3 other waitresses to find her drink over the course of an hour but none of them did anything about it after we asked. Also did not get asked how our food was until we were practically done. It was difficult to get our bill and every waitress seemed to be doing something or ignoring us.Their chicken riggies are pretty good and the drinks are as well. Just very understaffed and slow service. Probably wouldn't go here again.
I don't think I'd ever called a bar area elegant before coming here. The ambiance is classy and sophisticated but also laid back and unpretentiously cool. To keep it classy, we had a beer and some wings. Delicious and good service.
My husband and I came here on Valentine's Day and it was an amazing experience. The food was fantastic and the service was exceptional. The staff is very friendly. It is a great place for a special evening. The restaurant is very clean and the space is classy.
