Hands down the best bakery in Syracuse. They have my favorite croissants next to the ones I’ve had at tartine bakery in San Francisco. Love getting sweet treats from here. Could not give this place more praise, bravo. This place is a gem in the salt city.
I recently had a birthday in April and my boyfriend surprised me with a vegan cookie cake! Simple cookie cake was a childhood favorite of mine and I haven't had one in over a decade due to the availability of such an item; thus why it was very special for me!This place has been my favorite vegan place to get a pastry from in the area over the last few years I have been in Syracuse. We were blow away with how yummy and beautiful the cookie cake was! It was so wonderful of Sweet Praxis to go above and beyond by making their second cookie cake ever for me!!!
The Sweet Praxis is our favorite bakery in Syracuse. We recently hired them to make the dessert for our wedding, and both the cake and our mini desserts came out beautifully! Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Natalie, one of the owners, was super communicative and absolutely wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!!
This is our favorite to go place on weekends. They have a different level of baking and provide great range of bakery items with vegan options. They have amazing lattes with seasonal special flavors. Undoubtedly the best cafe in town!!! ???
This café is so much fun! The food is delicious, the staff are so kind, and the atmosphere is cheerful. We had a gluten-free breakfast sandwich. It was phenomenal. I could hardly tell it was gluten-free. The various coffee/tea drinks are made fresh and the coffee is hot (unless you want iced, of course ?) They have a wide assortment of baked goods too. Bottom line, Sweet Praxis is well worth the visit.
Went here with my girlfriend for a quick breakfast and was SO GOOD. The oat milk cappuccino I had was so well balanced and the perfect amount of bitter. I got the coffee cake muffin they have and it was ABSOLUTE FLAMES ?. The icing, crumbles, everything were sooooo damn good. Got avocado toast too which wasn’t my favorite because it was lemony and I just don’t love lemon but my girlfriend loved it!! Just depends on if you like citrus or not. The atmosphere was very cool too and well decorated. I will be going back to try all their baked goods they have at the front. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ?
We love this place. All of their sweets are delicious and they have great drinks as well. Even their savory dishes are good. Their turnovers and quiche are very good. Highly recommend trying this place out.
I LOVE The Sweet Praxis all the time, but they were phenomenal for my wedding in 2020!My husband and I wanted something a little non-traditional for our wedding, and Sweet Praxis worked with us to get the perfect desserts for our small ceremony/celebration. They made us a small, multi-tiered cookie cake (the first cookie cake they said they'd ever made), as well as an assortment of other cookies and cookie-wiches. Everything was perfect and delicious, and the whole process went smoothly. We also paid to have everything delivered and set-up, and it was beyond worth it.Thanks to Jen, Natalie, & the Sweet Praxis team for the best wedding desserts we could have asked for!
Went in for my first time and everyone was super nice and helpful! Oh and the Vegan Donuts are AMAZING! I had to buy all six different flavors so I cloud taste each one! No regrets here; will gladly gain weight for these donuts!
Recently I visited Sweet Praxis and had a very unpleasant experience. After being in a terrible accident I now have a medical condition which I cannot wear a face mask with. The staff there was extremely rude (mostly the young “man”) and they denied me food/service because I wasn’t wearing a mask. I stated I am not medically able to wear a face mask. As you can see below from the information provided on the NY Health departments website it states people who are medically able to tolerate a face mask must wear one inside public businesses. I am in fact not medically able to tolerate any covering over my face. “Any person, past their second birthday and medically able to tolerate a face covering, must wear an appropriate mask while in any indoor place, regardless of vaccination status. However, businesses and venues can choose to implement a vaccination requirement, requiring proof of vaccination as a condition of entry inside the business or venue. Whichever requirement is selected, it must apply to all within the business/venue’s capacity, including staff, patrons, visitors, and guests.” https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/frequently-asked-questions-proof-full-vaccination-or-mask-requirement-businesses-and-venues Will be submitting a statement with supporting evidence to my lawyer who takes care of situations with power hungry inconsiderate people like the Sweet Praxis staff.
