Amazing food with great service ???
The Preserve @ 405 - Great Food & Amazing Staff… We were looking for a place to celebrate HS graduation and landed here. We booked a table for 9 a few days in advance and it was ready as soon as we arrived. The hostess and waitress were on their game - we ordered drinks and appetizers, which came quickly. Appetizers: cheese & meat plate to share and a dozen meatballs. Huge portions, enough for 9, and the meatballs with marinara were fresh. Dinner: Delicious all around. Steaks were a hit, chicken and pasta dishes were large with enough leftovers for a second meal, a large BLT, and a lobster roll that was piled high. Although the restaurant got crowded quick, our waitress was attentive over the 2 hours we were there. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the memorable dinner
Nice restaurant kind of in the cut. Good atmosphere, friendly service and good food. The drinks were ok...didn't care for them too much but I am only one person. Just note they give HUGE PORTIONS. they literally gave me a whole box of pasta. Thought I ate a lot and it looked like I barely made a dent. Nice menu selection. Check them out!
Awesome time at this joint with my ma for Mother's Day. They had a great app that reminded us of classic Utica greens. Then a salmon salad and chicken Alfredo for main course. Last the drinks were fun and creative. Little pricey but I'd go back.
Total Bill for me was about 80 dollars including tip with a group of 5 girlfriends. I had one cocktail and a wine that they only served by the 1/2 bottle. We ordered the nachos which were great, a little spicy for my taste but delicious. I ordered the seafood scampi which was a lot of food. I didn't like they cut up the pasta, it was angel hair. I like my noodles long but the dish was rich. It contained shrimp, scallops and lovers meat. The scallops were very tiny and a little over cooked. The shrimp were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The lobster meat was mixed in with the cream sauce but it kind of tasted like imitation lobster. Overall a great dinner and would definitely go again.
Came here for lunch for the first time today. Not only was the food amazing, but our server Greg was the best!! He had a lot of tables and still was very quick and attentive. We got the lobster roll, Philly cheesesteak, and mozzarella wedges (as well as some drinks) and really enjoyed it all! Will be coming back for sure
The and the staff are great you have to go make sure to plan ahead and get reservations because it is a very popular place. You will be pleased.
Had an amazing dinner at 405 tavern in Syracuse. Started with a war of 1812 amber beer on draft. Bar tender Paige was very knowledgeable about local brews and mixed drinks and had an amazing personality to keep you feeling at home. I ordered a Reuben sandwich with their homemade hand beer battered onion rings which were salted on presentation. To start their corned beef is in my top 3 I've had, it is not shaved like most restaurants, hearty portion. They were out of marble rye which was disappointing but at least they told me before they made it... just enough sauerkraut and Russian sauce was throughout in every bite. The owner operater named Doug was throughout the entire restaurant checking on customers the entire night ensuring quality control was met at every step. They have a vast menu and rotating specials. A must try if you're in the area!
