If you can’t have The Evergreen in the corner of your street, you want a place as much like The Evergreen as you can manage. Good, even great, burgers and bar snacks. A well-curated beer list, friendly people. They don’t take reservations so go now or you’ll have to wait.
We have never had a less than amazing meal from Evergreen. Even take out meals taste like they were prepared and served to us in the restaurant. Tonight we had the cauliflower wings, brussel sprouts salad, and salmon tacos for take out. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly and packaged smartly to avoid anything getting soggy. The meals were bursting with flavor, there was not a bite left. Not only is the food impeccable but the service is second to none. The girl at the front was so kind and welcoming, and although we didn’t have a server last night since ewe got take out I know from previous experiences that all the servers are top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant for dine in experience and take out.
Ask for Sean. He is the kindest server that I have experienced in Syracuse. He was attentive and knew everything on the menu. He was happy to answer any questions our group had. His knowledge about the whiskey/scotch made us like him even more. I feel that he was the only employee there who was actively working and getting things done. Thank you Sean for you exceptionally genuine service and kindness.
My wife and I have been to the evergreen twice and both times we had an amazing experience. The staff is always incredibly friendly. The food is also amazing it is the best hamburger you can get in Syracuse. I would also recommend the Rosemary fries. They also have an excellent beer list that changes regularly. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Outstanding bar, fantastic appetizers, amazing service. Incredible whiskey selectionCame here the other night and had an outstanding time. They had a sign on the door saying that there were only two people working and to expect slower service. I appreciate it the candor and up front notice. That said, the two guys working out front were kicking butt. They worked really hard and did an outstanding job.They have one of the best whiskey and bourbon selections I've ever seen and their prices are very fair.We got the chips and sausage and cheese dip appetizer which was out of this world good.If I'm ever within a 45 minute drive of this place, I'm going to make sure I go out of my way to come back here.
I was overcharged on a drink (beer) I ordered, with my added tip larger than the amount I signed for on my receipt. Not sure what happened, if the waiter or waitress changed my tip after I signed or what. I was charged a $3 tip on a beer when I signed for a $1 tip .Very inappropriate and should be investigated.
