We used to love the platters from this place and we would order once a month, but they recently limited the toppings that you can put on the platter. So, we're probably going to try a new place instead and compare.

It is a great place to get a delicious gyro. The gyro platter is absolutely delicious and the owner is friendly with great customer service.

I was searching for kabob place for late lunch, found this place and decided to dine there. First I ordered lamb/chicken sandwich. It was so much, I ordered another meat platter. Meat was moist and soft, sauce was spicy & delicious. Customer service was awesome. I was hungry, food was enticing that I forgot to take pictures.

My go to spot, the food is always on point and super consistent. Try the wings with special sauce .

Tried a sample at Taste of Syracuse. It was hands down the best thing I ate at the festival. I promptly went back and waited in line a second time to get a full sized portion of the lamb gyro plate. Delicious food. Friendly service!

Seriously good halal food with excellent service! Aye my food so quickly I forgot to take photos, but got the mix plate along with a gyro plate for the wife along with some grape leaves and falafel! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

The service was excellent, the gyro was flavorless!!!!! More seasoning on the meat & it would be a 5 star rating. But that's just my taste buds, others may like it

We recently moved back to the Syracuse area after being away for awhile and this meal has been the best in the months that we've been trying new spots! Sometimes lamb meat is dry, causing the entire gyro to be less than mediocre, but this was not the case at Syracuse Halal Gyro. Between the warm, soft pita to the tender meat, and spectacular sauces it was some of the best I've had! Already planning out next visit.

Not "the best gyros in town", but it was ok. They recommended adding hot sauce, but it kind of ruined it. Just didn't taste right on a gyro. Should have tried a proper one without the hot sauce. Or a chicken gyro with just the hot sauce. The service was good. Not sure why no seating open though. This is food that is difficult to eat in a car and doesn't travel well as it gets cold and soggy.

Got the chicken plate. Chicken was surprisingly dry. Quality may have gone down recently? Might have been an off day. Usually pretty good.
